exploit:
verb
make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).
noun
a bold or daring feat.
What he did was exploit your command, like any other fight there is. However I'm sure you are trying to suggest what he did was illegal and an abuse, which it was not.
An abusive exploit would be like 2 char's going after an undead, 1 of the perma is spamming rescue on the undead to
The dropping link and reconnected was probably due to trying to clear their buffer. You will notice that he continued to "dispel evil" on the demon instead of directing back onto you....so he prob had spammed it a few times. Granted, the demon bashing was enough to finish it anyway
Originally, there never was a requirement for pks for any of the cabals. The "applicant of battle" was originally just an addition to help out applicants so they could see invis, and help them with recommendations from other members. (Since sometimes they would ask for body parts of mages, and well damn if one didn't drop or decomposed before you could find that member again). But
Yes, killing evil is the driving point of being a maran, however it was always stressed that there are limits to your actions. That you have to judge your actions and how it affects those around you in your quest to slay evil. As well, you dont want to become that which you hunt.
There seems to be zero consideration for that of the neutrals of the Inn. Had you been some true evil baddie like
With arial having 19str 22int 20wis 25dex 18con and Elf having 18str 25(24Delf)int 21wis 23(24)dex 16con my question is thus:
For Non mages:
Is the 18con vs 16con that big of a diffrence? Are we talking about a huge gap in HP in warriors? I see a ton more elven warriors then Arials.
Dex is king (or so it is said). Is the 25 of arial a huge jump over 23 of an elf? (D-elf less noticable I would
Honestly I can't remember anyone from the start of the 3rd age till when I quit that got kicked for using thirst 1v1, non mage, or just in general.
Now Trophy, that is a different matter all together.
And as a former Imm, I'm telling you that they were not. You have stated that they are and always were against the rules. I can not speak for what changed after I left, however they were not against the rules at the time. You would be checked now and then to see if you were botting, Ie: spell learning with everything automated to eat, drink, word upon someone walking in...but no one ever got
Actually they are not, and were not cheating. Botting is the thing in question of which is cheating. Where one draws the line however is questionable as they leave in the rules the one little gray comment of "Discretion is up to the Immortal". However if what you have stated is true about some getting hit for using common triggers which have always been used since 1994, then interpretat
For the record, I was the one who told Driss where you were going. As an applicant, I saw you on Eastern and told him that you were there. He asked to know which direction and I told him that you had not gone East towards Hamsah. So he started checking the areas. Simple as that.
Then I also told him how you were waiting at the Pit with your demon which attacked him in town.
Cant say if Driss
1: Post whatever you want, as whoever you want. But really that log wasn't needed. Needing to "get ahead of this" and posting this log with that narrative will prob work against you and defeat what you were trying to get ahead of. I doubt much would have came from that single fight in terms of looting. However now you will have people targeting you for either a: your forum handle o
I really don't play other then maybe 1 char a year..but I still haunt the forums from time to time.
I loved those days when you were around man. Always fun with you, Graham, Abernyte, Thror etc around who always had fun strong villagers. Miss those days. As for if anyone still plays, there are some from time to time that I see pop up. And when I do play my 1 char a year...it seems to max
Well,
I am possibly wanting to roll my one or 2 yearly chars and just currious as to how the cabal wars stand. Always hated making a char for a cabal when they were in full swing and no one to go against.
Sooooo...my question:
Is it really worth playing with numbers still?
What is the cabal numbers at the moment...ie who is in charge, who is getting their ass handed to them...
Who are
This had always been the problem with Nexus even back in the golden days of it when I was still running it. Way back then we were working on a solution where you would be able to summon a mob from the Rift/Nexus and be bonded with that mob. A mage would summon a random non mage that would offer a lesser version of bond bonus..and vice versa
Not sure why it never got put into place or why we s
I've been told many things are usually my fault, so ok. And wow...it was painful to you? lol. I took advise from someone and played something I knew I would suck at so it would prevent me from even trying to pk.I think I was 0-6 and on top of that a new as I have forgotten almost everything explore wise and locations.
But alas, there is no GLWYN, This was it.
I never agreed with making someone a "kinslayer" just because they kill of one's own race. What about all the damn human on human action going on out there? With dwarves being allowed to be neutral, I would place them on the level of humans and not really go after them for kinslayer. Are there RP chances that could lead to it? hell yeah. However personally I would have kept Kinslay
Oh I totally agree.
Not sure how it works now with a smaller staff, but it use to suck when you wanted to get something done because of all the people you had to get on board. You had 6 (5 active) Imps, 4-6 59's, 4 58's and a handful of 56-57's. You needed a majority of them to give you an answer or imput one way or the other, so stuff would often fall through the cracks. Those w
"i applied twice for heroimm. went a week, didn't get a single response, gave up..."
I've seen this comment from a few and thought I would just chime in real quickly. The HeroImm process isnt quick nor will you get any sort of response quick. When you apply, your name kind of first gets vetted by your cabal/religion Imm since in theory they should know you best. You are loo
Just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt...but
What you did was perfectly fine and no one in the command structure would have had any issues with that. You attempted a defense while there was the Emperor (who without a doubt is the best leader powers in the game in my opinion) with a pocket healer. Yes, they were fighting you and the Big D but so? You went in and engaged them in an atte
Yeah...I dont remember where exactly it happened but my true sight fell and I didnt notice. It may have been the strange island. 1 of the Battle Imms was vis at the time and I thought huh..maybe they will help! So I get someone talking that I cant see...give my word and then Twist reveals himself.
It made it fun as I had a long running battle with Glanduin who just so happened to be RPing an A
