Druids lost transmute metal.
Healers lost fly
All mage classes lost locate object, save conjurers.
Those seem like pretty drastic changes... I considered starting up a mage just for some exploration. Locate object always felt like a big part of that. Like sometimes you'd search for something, find something else, and then go investigate
Hell and ST were always cool areas... but hav
As the title states, been gone for over 5 or 6 years, and logged in for the first time today. The player numbers never went over 20 though, and that was during the course of what I would assume to be peak times (Saturday evening). I caught a touch of nostalgia and thought I'd see how things are going. I'd imagine that MUD's aren't really able to attract new players, given the
I'd think anyone who is reasonably normal would see the biggest problems being: 1) they expire after a certain amount of time, and 2) too many restrictions, which narrows their play options, which in turn means it may not be something I particularly want to play at all
Has nothing to do with a learning curve. It probably has everything to do with not being a good fit for a lot of people.
You want to talk about the funstick... what's the point in stealing everything from a personons inventory?
I remember who your thief was. And I was looting your stuff so that I could get the stuff you stole from me back.
After that, you made an agreement with me not to steal my shit. Probably because you knew I'd waste your ass again.
Did you accomplish anything with that chara
Maybe you misunderstood what I was saying.
I was saying much stronger than I am. Meaning, I am the one getting steamrolled. Meaning I am not having fun getting steamrolled. So I finally killed you. Now I'm going to make our future fights a little bit closer for me.
In any case, any corpse that I make, I am entitled to whatever I want. Fortunately, I have a very specific set of outlines
I have a personal code for which I loot.
1) I need it (either for personal use, to heal my own wounds at a healer, or to sell--all of which are valid reasons for me needing it).
2) My allies need it (I only do this if they can actually make use of it by wearing it).
3) You are much stronger than I am, and I managed to kill you somehow, and something you're wearing that contributes to yo
You are obviously an enemy, which means you don't get a chance to see "the other side," except for dying apparently.
Is it possible they took the stuff just to be a dick? Sure.
Is it possible there is another legitimate reason (which there are an abundance of)? Yes.
My point is, spinebreaker is not consistent with other paralysis and knockout effects.
Save versus paralysis does nothing to negate the failure out success rate of spinebreaker.
And there is no reuse/protection timer associated with spinebreaker.
I'm saying it is am extremely powerful ability that doesn't seem to have any major drawbacks or protection against.
If you actuall
Up that all you want (it seems to have a pretty high success rate anyways, except *maybe* against opponents that are the same size as you). My point is, it is 3 hours of not being able to do anything, while the Orc can call in the cavalry. And the cavalry in most cases is pretty much anyone not good aligned or Outlander. I've seen Orcs work with Scion, Empire, Tribunal, and Nexus.
Spinebr
Rush obviously has the potential to lag longer than trip, which means you get the first command in after a rush. And while I've never experienced trample having a longer than trip lag, I can't really say for sure if it has that potential or not.
Spinebreaker should clearly have a reuse timer on it, or spinebreaker protection. This fact makes it one of the most dangerous skills in the
You don't think a Scion invoker with solipsistic shielding and demielemental transcendence edges, along with the ehren soul/lord edges would be pretty awesome?
All of the top warriors on the PK list had all of the best equipment pretty much all the time.
If you try to deny that, then you're just lying to yourself, or being extremely naive.
He demanded them from me, threatening to make me an anathema. But he also compensated me with a few hundred gold.
Then the next day, I found out he was getting overthrown (without his knowledge). So I tricked him into giving them back to me, then he made me anathema. Then he got overthrown a day later, and was made anathema. Hanord then had me reinstated.
I have no problem with the way thin
But then I assume you're one of the 350.
I had the strange bracers for maybe a week before losing them to a cloud giant greeting/crashing sword specialist in nexus. And that was even before I ever had war master.
And I also only had emperor powers for about a week, before needing to delete the character due to self-imposed school restrictions. So most of what I accomplished, I did so
Could've tried dirt to prevent redirection. Don't get caught up using artery too much for bleeding at the beginning. Get your strength loss and move on. Not sure what level you are, but don't return to the fight using underhand. Should tossed out a hurl torso to Getty him to drop one of those axes. Then there would be no pincer. If you didn't have hurl, then you should maybe t
Just because someone is better than you, doesn't mean they are cheating.
Twist is one of the few people that I believe to play the game pretty legitimately. I would be surprised if this weren't the case.
Edit to add: I tend not to post much anymore, because I really dislike the qhcf community. I think this forum tends to sometimes sour my CF experience. And it seems like no one ev
