Hell is easy to open and shut. Changing preps and gear around is not. We outnumber the immstaff. In the old days, they'd change any secret which became common knowledge. Now, they're all apathetic and lazy. Add to that, none of them have any authority to do anything. It's a perfect storm of incompetence. Publish away.
Take the idea and bring it up on officials. We can play wizard bingo!
Here is the answer:
1. If you're not happy you can go ahead and quit playing.
2. None of us can code.
3. All we know how to do is snoop players and run quests (but we sure are trying! Please play our game!)

That's the thing I've been saying for years.... CF is dying because you all refuse to acknowledge the poor game design. Players have been voting for years, and we're starting to reach the point where you can no longer cling to the claim that people LOVE CF. Listen to what players are saying as they quit playing because it just isn't fun. How many noobs do you see anymore?
Physics holds the following positions:
Imms behave like dicks, and have little / no respect for players.
Game should be transparent.
Game should be more casual.
Secrets != gameplay

Lol. No. But having lag of bash and trip lag nerfed pre 25 was in part from a stink I caused back in the day. I complained about complete command denial at low levels in a mud review and valg made a change a few years later.
I can point out many many many instances where my Pushing has initiated conversations about CF's problems. This is no exception. I have been the player driver of so many changes over the years, it would make your head spin. Pointing out the bullshit and hypocracy and making an entertaining stink is stage 1.

Part of the reason the game's population is down is the hardline the immstaff has taken against people who "share" information. The number of deny's and sitebans is monstrous, and you've got thousands of players on that list.

We all now have a copy of the area exploration and observation point list made by Twist and distributed to his imm / imp buddies for their own benefit. One imm buddy felt bad enough about it, and distributed it to the general population with an explanation of how shitty he felt that this Super-secret-info was for imms, and imm-morts only.
For the longest time (when the game was being maintained) a prep or practice mob would be made available for the immstaff to exploit. As soon as a player(s) witnessed the exploitation the prep or practice mob would be moved. Game knowledge figured out ICly (for a time) needed to be kept secret from other players otherwise the immstaff would step in and move the preps to keep the "advantage

Regularily Imms and Imps guard gear and mob bosses by killing / punishing / blocking access.... Because fuck you, this is their game.
Silent fucking tower. Only with the blessing of the immstaff can you actually get in. It holds incredibly powerful shit.... You need to be in the good graces of the immstaff and be "lucky" enough to receive imm experience for your "roleplay".
Wood elves get a new edge which makes their damage with natural weapons increase. Multiple natural material high average damage weapons are added. Daevryn runs around dominating with a wood elf abusing these new mechanics, and then when he's done he nerfs it all so that nobody else can exploit it.
