I know you like cartoons. You should watch Rick and Morty if you haven't. Humongous similarities to this logical conclusion. Like, uncanny. 10? episodes and the pilot is free, and every single one is good/absurd fun.
I'm not saying every black community should automatically blame the cops and shout racism when these things happen, but just by statistics they have to be right sometimes. Broken clock and all that.
That goes double in these (apparently) heavily policed neighborhoods where all the cops are white and live two towns over, and a majority of residents are black. Not a nationwide thing, but it
I'm sure they'll find more if they start looking (which they will.)
There millions of people still alive who lived in the days when the cops would beat the shit out of (and murder) black people in the street and not even try to cover it up. I think you're _hopelessly_ optimistic if you think that mentality is gone away forever.
As for what the other unarmed black men
A cop shot Michael Brown, not a private citizen. That's the whole point and why it's different than Trayvon. Also, getting back to the OP, the cops "poor" reaction to what began as peaceful protests. Of course that community is angry, because this shit keeps happening, in Ferguson, and in inner-cities all over America.
Eric Garner gets choked to death for selling loosies.
I should add, I don't mean to belittle the hardship. I think higher education should be free to all who can get a 140 on the LSAT (or whatever), paid for by corporate taxes.
pppps: and the boosts for historically underserved populations should be based on family income
I guess it isn't such a big deal when everyone's on the same page vis a vis respect for genetic differences. But I still find it an uphelpful way to think (not in a utopia, but in America 2014).
Wow, now I want thought police, black thought police. Oh well.
No tear gas at least, that shit is inhumane.

So while the general militarization seems strange, I can understand it in a scenario like this where they are trying to stop looting, etc.
I get what you're saying. I'd like the violence to stop almost as much as the peaceful residents and the righteous cops (who are also "residents," even if they don't live there) do. I just think the cops, especially the c
>Black people have been liberated for hundreds of years, yet, remain the highest among crime, bastard children, welfare,
highschool drop outs, low income.
Nope. Remember reading that paragraph about the 60s in your history book? Do you?
>We have a black president, so wtf is the problem?
We have a ineffectual president who is constantly guarding his administration from claims lik
I don't vote or pay taxes for anything that went on there. I'm proud the FBI (which I'm about as responsible for as you) showed up very early on, though.
ps: is it because i'm black?
Don't you hold the responsible party responsible for what happens in most situations?
Do the cops not know how to identify random looters from reporters?
Shouldn't they learn?
Should they care about the First Admendment (not to mention state and local laws)?
Do they care?
As for the last one: before the story on the front page of the Washington Post? Apparently not!
