I don't think you can sit there and say one side is clearly favored over the other.
But you stack on non-wand protections (stoneskin, aura, shield, protection) and start adding in specialized tactics and it starts swaying one direction over the other.
I don't want to go off on some crazy tangeant, but ...
Warriors have high PK counts because they have more kill sealing ability (for example, bash/trip/entwine/lash/etc.). And you'll also notice that the vast majority of Warriors' PKs tend to be other Warriors. This is because Warriors generally have less GTFO options against kill sealing abilities.
Nonetheless, if you look
They're looking to be powerhouses that just steamroll over the competition.
When they can't do that, they think something is wrong with the game.
Also, given that mages now have inherent "shield" and everyone is really just talking about barrier anyway, why not just narrow it down to talking about barrier wands?
Plus, additional time for preps to fall.
Can be used on targets blackjack can not.
Keeps you in an upright position (again, better for ganking).
Can't diminish its chances for landing.
And from my perspective, lands more often than blackjack.
Which would make it an exploration experience for everyone.
But I doubt you or anyone else wants that. What I think you and others in this thread want is known, easily accessible locations for everyone. I think it is beneficial to just come out and say that because every discussion about this issue is clouded by a smokescreen thrown up by people like Torak who don't want to admit the
Thanks, though. That's the first time I've read something I wrote on these forums a year later without cringing at myself. Good on me. :)
I'm not talking about banning you - what I wrote then was very well put. I just find it interesting that you would vehemently lie about who you are. And it's interesting/pretty cool that Nepenthe, especially, is that big of a person

Generally those two cabals have the short end of the Title stick. In Scion's case, it seems like absentee IMMs and high RP expectations. In Empire's case, I guess you could say it is consistent with the "generic imperial soldier" attitude that an Imperial IMM would probably have towards morts - not sure what the "real" reason is, though. Of course, when I'm p
"There's not one felar spear spec or arial spear spec village in the graveyard search that had their PBF bought."
Here's one that I know was spear/staff.
The same classes that "benefit most from faerie fire" as you put it, also benefit most from swiftstrike. Kind of interesting.
Anyway, I think where fighting classes are concerned I'd rather have faerie fire and 24 dex than swiftstrike and 23 dex. But I haven't experienced swiftstrike first hand (i.e., I haven't played an elf since it went in). It might look insane f
