Saw this today and laughed.

From "Forty-Five Things I Learned in the Gulag", 1961, by dissident writer Varlam Shalamov.
Assassin not a bad choice. For exploration, sometimes transmuter (duo dimension) and thief (gentle walk) are useful. Paladins are good at killing stuff, but don't have detect hidden and have alignment restrictions. Orderly good Conjie is in the same boat as paladins, but can potentially have more detects depending on familiar.

I fucked up.
Someone noticed, and that pisses me off.
Someone screwed up and accidentally killed me, and that pisses me off.
Someone assigned me penance for my mistake, and that pisses me off.
I screwed up again and got booted from Fortress because of it, and that pisses me off.
Games are supposed to be fun, but when my mistakes end up having consequences, that interfer
For the duergar, possibly necro, except you'd lose detect hidden if you became undead. Paladin, ranger and transmuter could also be nice. Maybe shifter if detect hidden carried over into form. Hard to deal with the low mana, but having people not be able to hide from you could be a big deal.
For the cloud berserker, put him in battle and make him a double-berserker. Fire giant would a
Agree, except when the other party has already posted an incomplete version designed to make you look bad. Providing additional context is perfectly alright.
What is super lame is accusing someone of being funnyone and trying to make it look IC. Also lame: complaining about your opponents using their class abilities, i.e. hide, to get kills.
If I haven't yet "accomplished" anything with a character, i.e. cabal membership, leadership position, empowered, etc. then dying in a particularly stupid way (and getting heavily looted) can sometimes prompt me to delete.
If I'm playing a class I've never played before and repeatedly dying in fights I thought I should have been able to win, that can cause me to throw
> The paladin is quite literally teaming up with an evil being to fight evil.
"Teaming up" requires collusion.
> Do you think it's ok for a Maran conjurer to summon and use a demon/devil?
No. But that's different in that the conjurer is bringing the demon/devil into the prime plane where it previously didn't exist. That's different form moving a mob
> I'd still call that associating with evil and therefore a violation of the paladin's code.
It would be "associating with evil" if the paladin sent the mob a tell and the mob voluntarily came. Being summoned is involuntary. There's no collusion between paladin and mob.
If you think the paladin must kill the evil mob because an imm might jump in it, then that
I'd be fine summoning the emperor to be a meat shield if I knew he was going to be as dumb as an NPC and just sit there doing nothing but soak up damage and auto-murder whoever he's tracking. Then I'd kill him afterwards.
In the case of Ghaelek I wouldn't bother, because Ghaelek is an NPC and, like it or not, there's a distinction between PCs and NPCs in CF. Otherwis
Bandit chief is neutral. Though, he's the chief of a bunch of bandits, so maybe he's not an entirely swell guy.
Agree on goods and neutrals, unless we're talking about non-sentient neutrals. Disagree on evils so long as they don't auto-attack anybody. Ghaelek can be a meat shield all day long for all I care. He's no more harmful to Thera's innocents loitering

Russians chat with each other via Discord and Skype.
One Russian player apparently sent some of those conversations to the imms.
Imms ran them through a translator and decided there was enough there to deny Kstaida's character.
Beront considers that unfair, because he believes the person who sent the logs to the imms is just as deserving of a
No, not fine with those either. Just picked the thing that's most "abnormal". Racism and homophobia are, sadly, more commonplace than a desire to deny women the vote.
Sorry, I feel that believing women shouldn't have the vote is a priori evidence that someone is an asshole. And certainly not "normal". Even if you limited the discussion to men, the % of people who want to disenfranchise women is likely fairly small.

He’s really a totally normal, cool guy...
Disagree. Isn't he also "Sultan" elsewhere? If not, then ignore. If so, here are some Sultan gems:
QuoteGiving women the vote and letting them speak their mind on things they can't understand was a real mistake.
