At 2pm, we see the rune-covered armguards spelling you up with 'faerie fire'.
At 3pm, you're weaving through flow of shadows like a boss.
I thought that 'faerie fire' negated flow of shadows?

You try to jab through your opponent's defenses.
Your precise jab leaves Horkhampz bleeding.
Your jab misses Horkhampz.
Horkhampz has some small but disgusting cuts.
Someone's code is not checking for a hit before bleeding :P
Ah, I was going by wiki. The legacies page listed -20 svspell permanently.
So I figured it actually gave that + 2nd save.
You're the expert, since you had it. Would you mind updating the wiki with the correct info please?
Wasn't there a Q&A thread by a guy named Joker, who was spilling some imm secrets a few years ago?
I remember him saying that Calming wasn't just straight -20 svspell.
In addition to this, it actually let you have a *second* saving throw on anything spell related.
So basically, if you failed the first check, you got a free second one.
This sucked if you had a low svspell, bu
Hahaha this made me LOL. Great, irreverent style buddy :)
I get that this was not so fun to the imms, who have a job to do, but damn, I would've loved to group with that type of char :)
Hey bro, which game occupies your time these days? Is it another mud? I'd appreciate a drop on some good, easy to learn muds -- which have good wiki/info pages.
Hey guys, wanted to vent about something. Pretty sure I added some info to the wiki pages only to see the wiki edited and pages gone from history (e.g. spear page is particularly bad here). Previous versions are cut down to maybe last 2-3 edits, deeper history is gone.
Am I too paranoid? I must have id'd barbed bone javelin like 5 times so far.
I don't play often, but when I do

On a related note, anyone got some RGP 4x to recommend?
Something like Heroes of Might and Magic or King's Bounty serial?
I totally agree with you Jalim.
What I like most is that I can jump in a match, burn 10 minutes and move on to something more productive. Same with CS:GO. I get in, shoot up a few rounds, leave before even the map reloads.
Contrast this with the chore that is CF.
I can log in to the main forum, but not to the wiki.
Trying to log into wiki pops up a notification that my cookies are not enabled (a vicious lie!)
What up Dio?
I was trying to add a dagger ID to dagger wiki page yesterday around 3-4pm EST. The moment I hit submit is the moment that the site went down. That'll teach me trying to be a good community member!
Canonical answers:
* Most cities/under-30 ranking areas will have eq lying around. E.g. Castle Akan, Evermoon guards, Tir-Talath guards, Catacombs in Arkham, guards in Arkham, Guards in Seantryn, Battlefields, Velkyn Oloth, etc etc. Load up on gear, go to merchants, sell. Eq of one standard guard in Seantryn is probably 8-10k, when sold fully. What happens if merchants don't have the copp
A few of the US POWs had some things to say about McCain that aren't that ... marketable.
No idea if this is true or not, but it's certainly been out there for a while (didn't start with recent Trump-mania).
This change had some significant impact on dexy races (so assassins by default).
Also from what I gather, axes, maces and polearms became easier to dodge. That was a second positive change for assassins. Back when I played actively a mace-wielder or an axe-man was feared by assassins. Not so much these days, I guess?
The grind of countless hours though puts me off.
The fact that I know of no gear and people still hoard knowledge puts me off.
And in the end, knowing that I can get my fix on something like Dark Souls, where you have wikis full of people who want to help, tilts the scales away from CF.
Hypothetically writing though, if one *were* to create a new char, what's a good noob-friendly c
1. You get pick lock.
2. You get 'vanish'. Topically can be used in unknown area for some nice exploration. Obviously risky, but you _are_ the explorer, so that's a given.
You see hidden, you see invisible.
You can dodge a lot of PCs and NPCs, thanks to hide and focus on your exploring.
You tank like a god.
You self-heal. Your healing ability removes plague and blindness, on occasion.
What's not to like?
The value of maelstorm is that you can go to an unknown area and see hidden mobs there. Your alternative would be to 'faerie fog' every room, multiple times (if the mobs save, I think they can save on fog).
