Ok so I haven't played in a while, but I'm curious about following pieces of eq. For non-limited ones, can anyone tell me which areas they come from?
green leaf wing braces
a pendant of a golden eagle poised to kill
a wooden ring studded with gibbon teeth
a long, sleek steel shank
a black satin and dragonbone corset
a shiny gold circlet with bright orange plumes

1) No idea about binding for numpads, but here's a tintin manual:
2) hit "!". This generally repeats the last thing in your history on linux systems and I think this has been ported due to tintin libraries to windows as well).
Hope some of this helps amigo.
I swear to God, at 38 years old I didn't think I'd ever encounter a game that made do "just one more turn" until 2am on a work night. I'm sure it will wear off.
Highly recommended -- a WOW inspired, turn-based card game. I never tried Magic the Gathering, but they say that Hearthstone is much faster.
It's a great way to kill 10 minutes, which then turn into an hour before you know it ;)
Glad you posted this, with your thoughts/questions in the logs. As you can see, tons of people had tons of good things to say. This is how you learn :)
One thing I'd recommend is getting 'resistant sight' edge.
I got too frustrated with the onslaught of neo-shamans as of late. They all typically commune blindness fairly early in the combat and 'cure blindness' poti
Sure. Here's what I've been using for over a decade :)
First, you set up an alias that assigns name of your target to variable called $target:
#ALIAS {targ} { #variable target %0; whois $target } {5}
You use above like so: targ valg (sets up $target = "valg"). As a bonus, I also do "whois $target" in the same command, to make sure that the guy pops up
Hey, that's a very valid point. I didn't think of it, although generally crappy strength meant lower parry rates anyhow for d-elf (it was really getting beat up a lot).
This makes me think though: typically, spear is wielded by dexy/smart races. Not so much by giants. This is just too bad. Weaker APs are _so_ frail, it's not even funny.
I took spine as a d-elf AP a few months ago. I ended up switching to sword+shield for tanking every time. I was looking forward to increased defenses prior to taking the edge and I was _really_ disappointed afterwards, specifically because of lack of defense. Sword+shield was better, at least for that character (all relevant skills were maxed out).
Having written this, I'd still recommend
I wonder if shield block was worth it. You blocked a handful of attacks with shield. Contrast that with benefits of the off-hand weapon. What do you think? Shield blocking rarely seems to be worth it on warriors.
I *think* that any attack from dagger spec that doesn't result in a yell should apply. This means hamstring sometimes works too? Not sure about underhand.
Hey guys, just a question on my account with this site. I realized that wiki section doesn't work as expected for me. I've recently contributed some changes that I now cannot see. I put them in as "minor edits".
I went to Preferences -> "Minor edit display:" changed to "Show minor edits" -> hit "save" button.
This fails and I'm p
Basically, you run Google Currents Producer.
More info here (easy to google too):
ps You can also have a basic RSS stream in Currents. It's not as nicely formatted, but it's something. I used Google Reader for RSS, but now I switched to Feedly.
Minding your mitochondria:
Looks impressive, especially when she talks about her progression near the end of her presentation. She appears legit too. Anyone have any counter-info?
Thankfully, not suffering from MS, but really interested in the diet. I think I eat better than most, but there's room for improvement.
Way back when, as Maurwam I rescued someone who was stuck in a no-recall room (Avalanche in Jade Mountains). I told them to succumb to it instantly and it worked out perfectly.
A lot of Warlocks were logged in and everyone had a good chuckle. Someone even commented to the effect "Leave it to a warlock to turn the tool of evil into something good".
1) How much does faeglow cut down the timer on inherent faerie fire? Does it vary with level?
2) Any rough estimate on how much more malefic glow makes the target vulnerable?
Thanks in advance, ladies and gents.
Just took 'Spine of the Akragaka' on rank 25 -- it was one of the cheapest edges this lowbie char could get. I am assuming here that edges are sorted in order from most expensive to cheapest.
For the record, char is d-elf AP. Mastered spear/polearm, but other skills (slice, thrust, pierce) were between 88-91%. It's quite possible you would qualify even if less proficient in the
The gist of the message is that giant sword non-villagers are still a viable option.
Thank you for the info about legacies. Enigma sounds cool for RP reasons. Lots of second choices are solid.
Regarding second spec... Hm. Maces were my first choice. Lots of folks say HTH is fine. Let's get there first ;)
Well, I spent a few days on forums and now I have itchy fingers.
Tons of stuff changed in the last few years, so I want to ask you guys this:
Is cloud/fire giant sword spec still viable as a non-villager (e.g. as Nexun, Tribunal, Outlander)?
If so, any recommendations for second spec/legacies?
If not so, what is the current easy button for non-villager warriors? Arial dagger/mace? Elf s
I remember your posts from 10 years ago FN. Unlike you, I sadly can't find the time to burn. Every few years, I rank up a lowbie to 15, perfect defenses and realize I just wasted 20 hours. I then promptly delete. I am doing this now, which is the only reason I am even aware of any of the "political turmoil" going about.
Gabe: At any rate why should you chose TheFaithfulOfNazmor
Haven't played in ages -- and will never again have the spare time I had 7-8 years ago -- but I would like a glimpse into elite dark corners of CF.
Requesting address in PM.

Thanks for the insight. Question for you:
Old version of help file on 'unarmed defense' stated (if memory serves) that you had to have both hands empty in order to gain bonuses on attacks. Does this still hold? Or if I go sword main-hand + empty off-hand, would the foe still be hit more than normal HTH with off-hand?
