Mage classes - I've played many mages and all without the ability of ABS (I'm a walking pk stat for somene) With the addition of the once per day shield type ability still a huge handicap. why not just give all classes the ability to have their form of damage reduction or have the wand location for each class something they can figure out by quests or be pointed
Oh snap. So they actually prevent you from even entering the area pre-level 11? I assumed they wouldn't let you into the room with the outer but they don't even let you into the area?

I'm on some water and theres a floating island above me. The room description mentions stairs leading up to the island but there is noway to go up or interact with the stairs.
I assume quest locations are a no no to give out OOC? Guess I will have to ask around IC.

How do mages gear? Like, rangers generally gear with light armor to take advantage of light armor use/the light weight which helps them dodge. What about mages who don't have dodge? Is it pretty much "Heaviest AC you can find" type stuff (disregarding all other stats for the moment.)? Or is it still pretty much "Keep your weight down and don't load up on super heavy stuff
I'm thinking of rolling a dwarf warrior as an exploring character. Not intending on doing MUCH pk, 95% of my pk will be defensive and if I chase the person off, a lack of chasing on my part. My three questions are as follows:
1. In the warrior skill list, it says stuff like "(staff/spear specialist)" but when you read the helpfile of the ability (such as cresent) it obviously is
Disclaimer: I am a little mad as I just died but I knew I was going to die repeatedly since I was playing a "not for newbie class" and probably not make it past level 25 before trying out an easier class so I'm only "a little" mad.
So far, I've rolled three characters in CF. A goodie melee, a neutral melee and an evil spellcaster. Across all three characters, ther
