I poked in after my failed comeback attempt 6 months ago. Made a character to piddle around with, explore new areas, show people old quests so they don't get lost to time etc and namely test my connection since I'm abroad right now. Anyway, a few observations from dicking around for about 2-3 days, 5 hours total.
I hate to be the one sounding the alarm and bitching but sub-10 players
I've dropped the full on multiple Crafted, Jerry and Funnyone characters, but usually in retribution (albeit not always, they have a way of getting under my skin).
I also got into a couple of legitimate full loot grudge matches against Alex's Imperial warriors and Empire in general, mainly when I was playing forties. Though usually it was just a heavy exchange of warrior super suits
Basically sword offers potentially better 100-0 chances. An 8 hit flurry is hard to beat. But I actually like polearm more than sword for killing stsf.
Most stsf warriors, especially strong ones, are running their wimpy pretty generous specifically to avoid dying to large burst. Unless the stsf warrior has lagged himself, he's probably wimpying out of your flurry. Now granted you can pre
Why you should listen to me: elf/dark-elf stsf is kind of my bread and butter. I play that shit like Torak plays APs.
The below is on warrior vs warrior engagements:
Igbah and Humbert were tough, but there's a serious difference in playstyles between STSF dexy sword spec and giant basher and how to fight STSF dexy sword spec and giant basher.
I seriously don't get it. Giant
Fighting a dagger spec you either have to:
A) Have the gear to cover the stat loss. At hero this is usually >+15 str/10 dex. It's possible, but you have to have a pretty a nice set. However, if you do have such a set, you essentially render the dagger spec obsolete.
B) Have the burst damage to nullify a dagger spec in 3-4 rounds. If you don't have the gear to cover the stat los
With my dagger specs, once everything is perfected, if I was going for raw dps I typically found artery spam nicer than stab. For some reason it seemed that 100% artery missed less than 100% stab + twist, and the one round lag was nice.
I don't think that bit of info has a place in this log because I don't think everything is 100%, but that's just my 2 cents.

That was one of my random nexus svirf flurry specs against him. I was pretty proud of it.
My point being that even if assassins are strong and stuff they're not an instant I-Win button. You can still kill them. Even the legendary Nepenthe ones.
Sometimes with characters like Gawlar, I specifically play a character that is focused on PK. I played a couple of lowbie murder shamans before Gawlar, specifically because I was aiming to crack the pk charts with him. That was the goal of the character. He still had a fleshed out role, a purpose and aim to his actions. But the overarching motivation for me to play Gawlar was to leave a legacy on
A lot of it also comes down to how the players react to it. Usually the imms are trying to have fun too, just like us. Sometimes they fuck up. Sometimes it's hilarious. Sometimes they greatly enhance the experience. That's just part of the gig, but the playerbase is prone to lose their shit when slighted due to the hyper competitive nature of CF.
I think some of the imms are 'b
