Most people won't fight that shit all day long. I know I won't and I consistently run one of the highest pkphs, so its not like I'm not fighting. The issue is I'm not going to waste time, preps, health or mana on a fight with only a 5% chance of dying on either side.
And if I won't do it, the prep happy people sure as hell won't for the same reasons. You're
You're definitely a 'tight' player. In my experiences, when you're able to control it (ie outside of an ambush etc) you stick around when you're sure you can win, but I think it's very fair to say that you'll hedge your bets and won't take a 60/40 shot at winning. You'll wait until it's 75/25 or so when you have more control of the outcome.

Playing a warrior really makes me miss the utility of say a shaman. As a warrior more than most there's other warriors or classes that just stomp you almost no matter what, hard counters if you will.
But then when I'm playing shaman or paladin I really miss the hard lagging moves. So I flip flop between the two classes.
In that vein, something I noticed once I got the hang of prepping as a warrior was that my most important duels happened around those prep spots. There's only a handful of spots a warrior can reliably gather preps efficiently. The meta around when that tough warrior is hurt fighting a tough mob for preps is so complex. Especially because they are limited. With Hralpelk I killed basically eve
Truth. It's funny, I'm in my mid twenties now but that's young compared to most of the vets around here.
It's interesting how age factors into CF.
Finding the time to take y'alls pies and/or con die was way easier when I was 11-12. When I was younger, that's when I tended to have the super fast con-dying going on.
I didn't really grasp how to time lag,
You're definitely a bard guy. I'd say I'm best known for dexy warriors. Either elf stsf or dexy space builds.
I'd also say I'm known for paladins and shaman.
Isildur can only play Fortress thieves. It's a fact....or really nice empire assassins. :P
Ooglarr was the best warrior statwise. Sometimes the stats don't tell the story though since I play a lot of severe underdogs (Avalusci, Artenel) I think my toughest by a significant margin was Gawlar (120 pks in 120 hours) as a dark-elf shaman.
But I've wanted to ball out as a berserker for a while. I definitely agree with your assessment there.
One thing I do when I'm getting ready to roll a character is sort of review my past characters. Jog my memory or what worked, what didn't work. And I was digging back older than I usually do and came across some titles that just cracked me up. I noticed a thread a few weeks back about favorite titles and was sad that I didn't get to get more involved with that. So. Here's a ra
I'll probably be rolling a character in a little over a week.
Out of curiosity, what cabals are on the upswing? Who's in power? Are we flooded with mages because of the new mage cabal(?) apparently? What's their deal?
Are Outlanders and Scarab at war? Any funky treaties like the battle + empire alliance of old or the fort + battle war?
Nexus is totally gone?
