I definitely want to do Game Programming at some point. However, I would also like to have general programming knowledge, in case I want to do something else (like website design, phone apps, and just general programming fun.) I want a really good knowledge so I can dive into something like C++ or C#. I'm told they're easier to learn once you have basic programming knowledge down col
I definitely don't want to get paid to program, at least not in the conventional sense. Ideally, I'd be able to go into game programming, making simple(I use this term loosely), yet fun 2d games (like Terraria) and 3d games (Minecraft, binding of isaac, etc) and maybe some phone apps. I know it's a long ways away, but I was just looking for a good starting point. I'm having
I know almost nothing of programming and have been jumping around looking for lessons. I've found some cool stuff on Java (youtube tutorials), Python (MIT OpenCourseWare) and am currently using
So far my favorite is codeacademy because it's like a game. However, it teaches Javascript and I heard Python might be best for starting out.
Thanks for any input
Good luck. My doc didn't know what it was a first. Thought it might be an STD or something, even though I always keep safe. But still, she thought it would be stupid not to do the std tests.
Well, one of the tests involved a q-tip being inserted into my johnson. yeah... I screamed like a little girl. It actually hurt more than the stone passing. I didn't have any anesthetic, th
It's definitely all mental. I just started working out myself, first few days were definitely like grinding on fleshy creatures at level 5. After that, though, you get into the rhythm and it's just a matter of keeping at it and forgetting you're doing something you're not used to.
Good luck

Sorry for not putting it up last night. Also, I know that the other one is up. But this one will be up as well, if people decide to play here.
Thanks,

I took that into consideration, but I have plans tomorrow night. It won't be the last Arena Night, regardless of attendance, so expect another one soon thereafter.
Arena Night
A long standing tradition with POS has been holding arena tournaments. In the past, however, they have been rather unbalanced (which is rare for POS, since it’s so balanced /s). I’ve tried, in the past, to fix this by setting some arena rules. I’d like to continue with these rules for future Arena tournaments.
I want to hold a POS tournament tomorrow night (04/01/2011
Up again. Sorry about that. I booted it without running the script and it crashed when I turned my computer off. Up now, with the script. No promises on it not crashing again, though. :P
You guys should help me convince Zorn to be more active again so he can put it up when I'm at work. :P
