I can't stand the rate of scroll when long desc are on. When I came back from a long break, I answered 'y' to 'are you a newbie'? I figured out at level 20 that I could not turn long descriptions off until rank 30 or something. delete;delete
1. Who can they NOT throw? (I assume with Master of Nage Waza, they can throw anyone)
2. Can they see other assassins hidden in the woods?
3. Can rangers see assassins hidden in the woods?
4. How do you tell the different 'wilderness' flagged rooms apart?
5. Is unarmed defense as good as parry? Is it better than parry with the Master of Atemi Waza edge?
6. Is it difficult
And I don't recall how. But, I think if you go to view->preferences->general and mess with the check boxes (especially the MUD Output and Status Bar ones) you may fix it too.

Tummel was much less PK oriented than previous thieves. He focused more on Drillmaster than hunting as he got older. Also, because of Drillmaster, he didn't stay at 42 as long as previous. Lastly, while Gergan could have chosen 2xdevious versatility, Tummel never got enough IMMxp to get DV at all.
