There have been a couple characters that I did not fare well in a 1 on 1 with them at full health. I might eagleeye them whenever I saw them and only attack if they were damaged or occupied. Also, you can tell if a rager is blood lusting. Or, maybe you want to know if they are worth it or a newb before you rain down hell on them.
Mostly, if you're going to flyto and surprise attack, some
I mostly fight ragers with my shifters. I'd find them with air form, fight them with Utility form and if they flee, flyto peck, murder, rake. Fully prepped of course.
Ideally when I go air I want:
3rd tier
Barn swallow: Hide, feint
2nd tier:
Burrowing owl: can see hidden at night, can burrow
Crag S: Can regen
Boulder hawk: Can knock people out
Honorable mention - Shikra (great fo
I didn't interact with Rizdyn much, so I can't say if he's as you describe. But, I used to have a friend who I'd play PC games with who was very good. He actually played Boltar (shadow necromancer) on CF. He always had to win. He'd buy a game and play it for a while, then tell me how good it was and want to play with me. He'd beat the crap out of me, obviously, becau
The thing about hell (and I've probably made six trips) is that virtually no one is going in there to explore and figure things out by themselves. And you cannot get close to an adequate group without a leader who knows exactly what he's doing and that everyone is confident in. So, basically, you're getting a walk-through log of Hell every time you go. The only difference is that i
They basically do what they want. Fortress and Empire war with them. Sometimes the village.
To me, it looks like at hero, the village, Outlanders and Fortress are pretty well represented and there seem to be a lot of villagers coming up the ranks. Nexus is gone.
While posting Hell logs is a pretty trash move, Gulrom did not close Hell, Scarabaeus did. I can only assume it's some form of collective punishment for a player who did something he shouldn't have. The problem is that collective punishment is ONLY appropriate/effective when the group can or should have exerted influence over potential offenders. So, if a group can police and influence
When your groupmate(s) start taking awhile to respond to GTs and they linger after a kill and you just know it's a matter of time before you are all dead.
It's either implying that they are in else it's a middle finger to those who wanted them (which would surprise me).
I mean, it's a promotion to get people to play. Why not announce it on the forum? Who would have seen this were it not for this log?
There was a time when you could find the majority of players in Galadon at any given time. The IMMs at one point made it so you could not pick Galadon as your hometown to disperse everyone.
These days it probably has something to do with it having good newbie areas near it, familiarity and exits to lots of good destinations like the Underdark and everything west and south of it. Considering yo
How reliable was it's freeze gaze and how long did it last? I wasn't too enthused about that one either, though I've never played it.
The Otyugh is nice and I was looking forward to having a harpy for the first time. The hellhound never really impressed me as protection from fire is so easy to acquire.
But, really, I was just looking forward to rolling a shifter that would ha
Not a comprehensive list and in no particular order, but the following will make your ranking faster:
- Choose a focus that can tank. People will want to group with you.
- Don't get distracted. Quit painting portraits in the Inn and go rank!
- Take charge. If you see a potential party, send tells to the people and form it.
- Be neutral/neutral if you want to maximize your pool of group
