But, some classes are too powerful with x amount of edgepoints while with others, 10,000 edgepoints wouldn't make them much more dangerous. Shapeshifters for instance. My last shifter could choose "eyes in the back of your head" which is the most expensive I know of, he had so many edgepoints. But, never used them because nothing was *that* great after "muscle memory".
I've never had an NPC assassinate miss when I was at full health. NPCs seem to use the old assassinate code where you could not even try if they were hurt at all. I usually take off a piece of HP gear, wait for the tick wear it again and head in. No problems.
On a side note, the IMMs implemented code before assassinate was changed to how it is now so that if you cast a damage spell on you
I've had it happen many times when the target and I had both been on for an hour+ and I had flown to him before. Saved more than one person from my shifter. I bug-boarded it, but it never got posted to the bug board.
They USED to hit at full strength when wielded by a L1. It's been toned way down. I like getting nice gear at low levels. To me, it's part of the fun just having the possibility that you might stumble upon something really nice that your char can actually use. Now, if some hero full-stocked some L15 guy, just stay away from him. People who have huge advantages in their PK range often ge
But, I'd also be pissed if I died to a lich's PWK. But, they can be overpowered because they are so well roleplayed. Well, that healer roleplays very well all the time. So, I guess it's OK. At least he can be blackjacked and robbed blind or bound unlike a lich. Also, if there's a way to avoid it's power, I'd find it before I fought him. Or, I'd get a charmie to
Looking back when the vets were newbs, it kind of puts your gripes in perspective. Back in the dizzay, no one complained about someone multi-killing them because if you even allowed yourself to be in a position where you could not defend yourself or get to a safer place when an enemy showed up, three other people would have already killed you. This is not about Shappa spam-killing you (whether he
When you are playing an evil conjurer, do not let a paladin be in the same room as you unless your plan is to attack him. Spam 'where'. Shappa should not have gotten as far as the desolate crossroads before you were gone. That's what 20+ years of CF has taught me. Then, not only can someone not spam kill you, you won't ever know if they're trying.
When you're figh
I killed a familiar as a rager thief north of Galadon and the conjurer happened to be in the Inn at the time. So, for some buggy reason, the bouncer attacked him either when I attacked the familiar or when he took damage from it dying. Either way, his familiar died, then he died to a bouncer and lost exp for it then someone in the Inn looted him I think. He blamed me for masterminding the whole t
I didn't log the fight, but I give it from my perspective as memory serves. That shifter got tossed on the "bad forms" trash anyway. To me, it was a defensive attack. You had servitors and stumbled upon us in Organia. I think that the paladin had been attacked in Eli by an outlander which is why we were heading to more secluded grounds. I assumed that you had followed us through th
