Some tree hugger dropped one hickory nut on each square. Maybe they were trying to tell Molignant that a veggie ranger could just gather nuts from the grove?
Still curious about Why. Why???
I'm getting sick of getting lost in the depths and am going to roll a character I can rank up some and then get to know my way around the waters solo. plus i need a non-caballed character I can just fart around with.
what's best? water shifter? mariner ranger? a #$%#% conjurer? i haven't played a mage in 10 yrs.
The human obviously had an inkling he'd get attacked, but wanted to have fun and rp a bit. dten just wanted some blood. Would have been more fun to exchange some dark words, or play out the shock of someone in PK just walking to a group and asking an innane questions, but whatever. I mean, it's not like they killed him, looted, full sac'd, and ignored him.
with your client you can probably select log via the menus, but I bet you anything #log mylog.log works
then just log log log and watch that filespace disappear!
Resistance you can account for and plan around, deathblow... just have to prep up and hope for the best. But dude, when should be fighting shifters that OBLIT three times in a row and Scions with 1500 hp, and can't quaff, you deserve deathblow, thirst and resistance. Look at berzerker PBF's, no matter how many kills most have, most also have tons of deaths.
Deathblow makes the game u
Back in the day full looting was to be expected. You kill someone, probably not knowing what they are wearing, then grab all you or your merc can hold and run and see what you got. Was quite fun. When happened to you, was no good - especially when you just had shit eq in the first place. saccing was a practice for cabal wars mostly - to weaken the other cabal as much as possible, or grab all the
Ok, I think the fun idea, so you allow for combos, is to have an evil set, chaotic set, orderly set, and good set, and then like 8 combos you can make
Evil
- Descrate: Taint the hometown altar so that any in your range could not recall there for a certain period (should you actually know who recalls there!)
- Protection Good
- Exacerbate: Supplication to worsen char's race vulnerabilit
pretty sure you have them frozen solid until the next tick, or until you attack or leave. Very easy way to steal or catch someone, etc. but can't waylay for another 8 hrs or so.
This looks like simply weaponbutt, which has 1 hour duration, but same victim echos. Blackjack blackjack should always be 4 hours if it lands (shown as 3 in affects).
Aside from raid situations - in most cases the thief is going to surprise the enemy, and the enemy won't necessarily know who he's fighting.
I mean, auto-sneak and faerie fire should help knifing, and dark-elfs have great dex, but the low HP is just brutal. I think they should at least get 100% steal or some small boost.
What is that mortar and pestle sold by the toolmaker in the grove for???? What? Poisons??? Aspirin???
What is that bag of tools for that Torsym sells? Tell me!
[ I had a trapper and thought, hey, maybe this helps my traps if I hold it when I set them! But no - it did not up my % or the timer, as far as I could tell ]
No - 85% was my skill percentage. Thought the research would be a good way to improve it too, but with that much failure I decided to screw it. Would be curious about the difference with it perfected, but my guess would be you could maybe get 70% landing with perfected... maybe?
I had such low success with it I didn't even try to use in PKs. I once did a highly scientific experiment in the felar village, trying to find what elements got my success rate up:
big high hitroll: marginal improvement
wielding big heavy mace: no difference
wielding little dagger: no difference
enlarged/reduced: no difference (aside from not being able to if too small)
hiding: no dif
Very curious what you discovered, but they are certainly plenty of hidden benefits too them. Just, god, don't pair them with a defensive terrain, like caverndweller. Great for exploring and tanking, sure, but with a good terrain you can kill quite well with an explorer.
