I don't have the time I feel is required to put into the game. When I was playing I could dedicate 2-5 hours a day and 5-7 hours on Saturday and Sunday. And most of the people that were playing at that time were putting in the same hours. So it was easy to play with the same crowd, have strong ties with the same friends and enemies and secure a good network and play structure. Now I'
Even when I was playing a bard I thought it was a little unrealistic (even for a mud)
for bards to sing in combat while holding a violin or flute (both of which require two
hands to play) and swinging a sword or mace at the same time. So I was thinking of a
bard that was played a bit different.
It doesn't look like bards get the acapella skill anymore so I would bring that back.

We didn't have repertoires back in my day so I'm trying to wrap my head around this. I think I have
songs matched up to the correct repertoire but if I have one wrong could someone please correct me.
Also, does the statement below:
Further study of each individual song may glean more insight into the strengths
and weaknesses of the tragic repertoire.

You notice some nearby leaves and branches have been displaced.
I know it's some form of sneak detection but I don't know the actual name of the skill.
Every time I think I might want to play again I think about how much you all bitch about all the changes and how much you hate them and the Imms and the game in general. And then I think about all the people that have already left and the low numbers are and it just doesn't sound that appealing anymore. I like thinking about the game in its glory days when we had 80 people logged in at pea
I doesn't matter if you sac the gear or give the gear to Tahren you're still full looting. And that is not good for the game. If that's what the Imms are encouraging then they deserve to have their player base dwindle down to nothing.
I see everyone talking about it below like it's a total game changer when it comes to PK. I've seen it used in logs and I know it does minor damage each tick but there must be more to it than that if you all are raving about it so much? Does it prevent teleport/recall or something?
A stout polearm, 'Maclochlan's Honor' vaporizes, returning to its true owner.
As the Imperial Vanquisher falls, the bloody head of a magician returns to the Battle Cabal!
So does the polearm just "reappear" in the dead owner's hands? That's a bit like tesseract for objects, no?
And what about the bloody head? Does that just magically appear back in the Ba

If cast on a person, you receive 3/4 of your mana in hps and a damage reduction. If the spell is cast in an area with plant life it gives 100% of you mana in hps and no damage reduction. When casted, your mind clouds so you can't learn as well, and you cannot have barriers.
So I'm assuming that modifier is the "mind cloud."

Does anyone know what the first modifier does?
If you look at The Mud Connector, they list 100's of MUDs there. Granted not all of them are of the same genre but if you took 10 or 15 CF-like MUDs and combined their player bases you'd have a pretty solid player base again. I think the challenge would be trying to convince the developers to either cooperate or give over to a better base code. But think about how huge the world woul
I've never seen anyone's zombies hit as much as yours do. Usually zombie are dodged and parried 90% of the time but yours beat the crap out anyone you fight.
The question below got me to thinking about weapons in general. What's the order of weapons of hardest to parry to easiest to parry? What about hardest to dodge to easiest to dodge?
