So any hasty conclusion that you draw should draw skepticism, especially when trying to be derisive. How many of those imperial turned scarabs were spies in the first place. Scarab spies happen enough that one could describe them as uncommon, so if any of these were that it doesn’t lend credibility to your point. Another thing to consider is character development. I know a lot of people that fall
He did say that he was no longer going to read/post on forums other than officials. I don’t remember what his handle is over there, the same? (see what I did?)
Preface: I’m begginer level.
Seems like the easiest way would be to set up the variable and have triggers for when sanc is cast successfully and when it drops, either of those instances is what should be tied to the variable that changes the color.
Edited to add link to the walk through for aliases/variables etc from website.
Around 90% (personal estimate) of all PKs on CF are the result of taking advantage of someone else when they are vulnerable. I’ve only been in a couple of fights where I was ready to face someone. Probably 5% of my own deaths were from fights that I took willingly. So assassins and thieves have a slightly easier time of doing this where they are able to hide. I don’t see the issue. These pristine
From Canada, tho. Nights can be pretty dead, but haven’t been bad recently. Prime time hit 36 players about a week ago, so there is definitely some improvement being made. The best way to improve numbers at your playtime is to recruit. I’ve found that D&D folks are some of the most likely to enjoy/pick up MUDding.
Alternatively, realize that the plan is usually come back and defend (from the Wakazoey logs that made the plan comments famous). These logs here will only serve to give your detractors more ammunition, because they know it bugs you.
Keep your chin up and keep grinding. Stick to the plan!
I knew what coprophagy was from college, have never looked up scarabaeus sacer (and am not an entomologist), so I didn’t realize there was a proper meaning. That makes sense now, well played.
No idea who, but that is what I have heard. I do think D&D and MUDs were a big influence on the standard MMORPG structure, so it’s not a huge stretch to imagine.
It’s worth noting that WoW wasn’t the first popular MMO, but instead the most resilient. In my own memory I remember EverQuest being the first big thing.
Funnily enough, I couldn’t remember the name of EQ, so in looking it up I
The properties of that cloak would benefit me greatly, may I take it?
I will say that I prefer the original to saying something like ‘Can I have cloak? It will give me enough wisdom to get more practices.’ Tropes are better than OOC, but that doesn’t mean I have to like them.
No matter how skillful, they always break immersion by reminding me that the person is just looking for an IC way to talk about OOC mechanics. That said, there aren’t a glut of alternatives, so despite disliking them I still try to make sure they are as IC as possible.
Everyone else is pretty healthy, with the possible exception of Entropy, but right now the enemies of order are plentiful. Battle, Fort, and Outlander are well populated at the moment, usually with a strong presence. You could argue that Empire is healthy right now numberswise but imperials are mostly disposable characters, so the numbers are skewed a bit IMO and factor in that playtimes are very
Since coming back I haven’t been fulled once. Back in the old days it happened a bunch, but even then it was never more than half the time in my own experience.
TBH it wouldn’t be the worst every now and then. I would be upset at the time I am sure, but it would force me to look around and memorize spots to regear.
Yes- Staves off boredom and allows you to experiment or experience multiple aspects of the mud simultaneously.
No- Promotes fair weather play. This can be detrimental to your main if you start to enjoy the alt more.
My old mud had a one character limit. It was SWR, and force sensitivity was something you could find automatically only after 20 hrs played. It was necessary there to prevent p
Kind of like room descs there are sometimes clues about role related events in a characters description. Some are generic with no thought put in them, most have at least a hint as to the general demeanor of the character. If there is a relevant physical trauma in the characters past I will definitely include some indicator or remnant of that in the description.
‘‘Tis the season of giving. As such I’m going to double the number of PBFs that I’m going to pick up for December. I’m asking for suggestions to ease the amount of sifting that I have to do to fill out the selections.
Usually I ask that the character be at least close to 100hrs, but that could take some time, so instead I’ll just ask for two suggestions maximum from any given handle. 40 charac
He’s an AP with a good number of charges. He’s going to get fulled or at least his weap destroyed anyway. If that happens he’ll delete, so fulling everyone is of no consequence to the APmatic. Tactically he’s playing well for AP, maybe blame the class design for being so unforgiving to losing the weapon and he wouldn’t feel the need to full. His Paladins don’t full everyone. And his last couple A
