1. Didn't know that. Which land rooms are on Aryth, unless you mean the air pocket in Whirlpool, but that's a really difficult spot to get into to stalk someone.
2. Yeah, but if you are scared to raid, just say so. It's more the feeling of taking excessive time to get things organised. It's rare that things just simply click in the cb Indeed fashion like it used to in Scion
Didn't play the game since Chrichuk (2008) pretty much, had a short stab last summer with another voker but deleted with lack of time.
Came back as a short stint of unemployment (I have contract beginning start July) gave me free time, and I was pretty determined to try team goodie for a change. I tried first rolling a dwarf warrior, but man it was just too painfull, picked wrong setup et
Just normal stuff, a bit of exra look mob kinda things. Sleek contrainers, high end eq mobs etc. What really is a grind is doing the pre 30 explore/observe things.
PK and exploration. And I like to roleplay. I just like roleplay that involves bash, not roleplay that's centered around writing a story which may or may not be read by other players after deleting. I liked the role command when it was introduced, and used it as a brief bullet point outline of stuff. Now it has become a writing competition to get imm exp. Which is not fun for me.
If the pounce is 5%, you would literally see double pounces every 400 times someone flees from a fight. A lot of characters don't see more than 400 fights with the tattoo where enemy flees twice.
Humor me, Undead_Irish, show me how a warrior is competitive when you power rank them (mean hero in < 30 hours).
As for spamming, you don't really need spamming, but if you spend *time* ranking and killing general stuff, using non main spec weapons, your weaps will go up. But humor me, and power rank. Only ever use the weapons most optimal for ranking. Don't tank unless you are th
1-15 is easy for anyone, 15-35 (typically) is tougher, and 35-51 most mages outshine melee classes for ranking purposes. A transmuter, most shifter, invoker and conjurer of the good variety is a much stronger groupmate than a warrior or what have you, since they tend to tank better and/or do more damage and/or provide general awesomness of some form. That is ofcourse unless said warrior is uberlo
Dagger/whip berserker would be nice, with the ability to kill flying escape, being constantly prepared with some dam redux, strong maledictions and killer damage.
High numbers does not mean more and better groups for unwanted combos, it actually means more. 10 years ago it used to not be worth it trying to level without a solid group due to a) constant interceptions from PKs b) good combo availability.
These days everyone is playing non tanky weird builds and still want to level, there is less selection of prime groupmates and there is an exp bonus, lea
There needs to be some incentive to sacrifice high end pieces of eq, otherwise there would be no traffic to the actual mobs holding them. Sure it sucks losing them, but at the same time it makes for better for everyone. Someone once in a while saccing high end pieces is nice, but it's certainly not the same thing as dropping off the o all get all corpse bomb, just to use your charred leather
First off stop spamming. In every single fight you were in, you would enter commands with 2-3 previous ones in buffer.
Second, make a plan and stick to it. In a lot of the fights it seems like you are just spamming random commands in the way of thinking 'Hey, wouldn't it be nice if this guy got hit with bash!', with little concern towards flow of combat, lag, stacked commands et
I actually kinda liked the dante reference, since the book is simultanously well known, but more or less no one has actually read it. I kinda dig when fantasy lore intertwines with real life legends and what not.
I also hope they don't change it too drastically, because hell is an area where exploration requires big groups (that is, doing stuff doesn't necessarily, but finding out th
I always wondered what get's people so annoyed over the forum persona and/or characters other people play to sincerely wish the players to leave/get banned from CF. I mean, it's easy to get infuriated on an internet board and say nasty stuff, but I've genuinely not met a single character in game who would be unconditionally a detriment to my enjoyment of the game. Sure it's a
cf rooms are not equally sized, some are huge plain areas or entry halls etc, while some are just cramped cabins. You could have just a small pit in the room, and somehow all characters are stupid enough to walk right splat into it.
Would seem what any normal guy would do. Are you more inclined to pick a fight with a 7" tall MMA heavy-weight, or your average 175 pound dude, when your drink gets spilled in the bar?
is that you played a rager commander who had 16 PK wins. I think that's poor roleplay, unless it was in your role to be a rager who sucks at killing stuff.
See my point?
Having played cf for 15 years, I can tell you that the general 'level of roleplay' has not gone down, it has gone up. I for one have kind memories of days when you could meet at MS, go grab a couple of opal rings that are +2 dam and kill mobs untill you get out for repop, since THAT'S WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS! cf has become anal retentive in many ways. I've been out for two-three
