There's only one way to pronounce 'aaa' in it. Just also remember, in Soviet Russia, 'aaa' pronounces you!by Murphy - Log Board
Someone has to roll a shifter Craaawlin (and hope to get anaconda), or ranger Prooowlin. Also, dwarves Druuunken and Booozin.by Murphy - Log Board
I'd insert some nasty arguments here, but I don't want to start any more flame wars. I'll just pretend that I like the humor :)by Murphy - Log Board
Yeh postin' a log dat assumes a bloody Imperial attackin' yeh in a city!by Murphy - Log Board
Though I hate giants. Most bland and uninteresting race ever, I just won't muster a role that wouldn't make me wince. Not worth playing even for teh lulz, like dwarves, orcs or minotaurs.by Murphy - Log Board
Not by another invoker, mind you. Where's the game balance? What's the point of having a character that can only be killed by ganking? YMMV, but I'd try not to allow such things, no matter how much effort is put into a character, he should be still one man. I'm not saying it is easy to balance things, I apparently fail to do it in my own mud, seeing as there, too, are quiteby Murphy - Log Board
More difficult is to "turn dwarf mode off" when you log on as someone else. Hehehe.by Murphy - Char Board
But you are wrong if you think Fort actively coordinates their defense with Outlanders. Not with neutral ones, anyway. Just ask any of the people that were there if they even knew Pago was around.by Murphy - Log Board
It was when you jumped on him as Kharras, at mid-levels. I played Gaerad, and I told you, hey, don't do it in city, and you said "there are no lawmen about, or what, do you want to be a lawman?" And then a quick fight ensued, on eastern, and he was outside my reach and escaped. Though I was too confused to fight anyway.by Murphy - Main Board
A certain paladin, for example, though he just isn't able to seal a kill.by Murphy - Log Board
They were fighting each other too. Aside from that, invokers are the best example of "A beats B beats C beats A" scheme - they are beaten by those who can dispel or deafen/mute them, and they pwn everyone else. You can't call that game balance, because, obviously, nobody can change his character class on the fly. Yes, you can catch him unprepped and kill him. But it's noby Murphy - Log Board

>Volkov is harmless, unless you're a villager I guess. I object. Scions are never harmless.by Murphy - Log Board
Only assassination echos. Also, I must know how can you find fun in this. Such "logs" always frighten me, honestly. Not because I am afraid to have my character die, just because there's something bestial and disgusting about assassinate. I feel nearly the same about making ponchos or bags out of corpses, too. And some orcish skills. Bleh.by Murphy - Log Board
I know there are ways to defeat him, you just have to be right class and/or spec. For example, I believe tigerclaw and throw would do the trick, he'd either flee or die but hardly be able to kill you. Volkov is good at picking his fights, that's all. But it does not make him less annoying to us non-assassins.by Murphy - Log Board
I don't understand why, but this one is tenfold more annoying to me. Even though he doesn't loot and doesn't gank. At least with you I knew you had to put effort in your wins, and Volkov seems like after perfecting his spells and stacking his wands he doesn't need to bother much because he can just blast everything right away and get no more than a few scratches.by Murphy - Log Board
I'm okay with Fortress having high numbers since they tend to have less vets and more newbies. Also, I think it'll regulate itself because as people become more experienced, they will get bored over not having enough challenge (or variety), and they will go play other cabals.by Murphy - Main Board
You can look it up in vanilla ROM 2.4b codebase even.by Murphy - Main Board
I'm definitely going to try a felar avalanche greeter. As a throwaway char at least, if I don't like what comes out of it. But, you know, asking a question never hurts.by Murphy - Main Board
There are a bunch of skills and edges that help against it. Also, I'm not asking which combo will bash best. I'm asking if a combo inherently meager at bash will become decent basher with the bash legacy.by Murphy - Main Board
Does it increase chance of landing a successful bash, or just the lag time/damage? I wonder if taking this legacy will help to effectively mitigate the low strength of elves and felar, and small size of svirfnebli... I know it makes you bash those who attempt to bash (and bearcharge?) you... no idea if it can thus work as bash protection. Yes, I know there's also harmonious equilibrium, bby Murphy - Main Board
I can be a bit slow and dumb at times. That's why I don't like playing giants. Hehe.by Murphy - Main Board
