For some reason, we've chosen to build out other economies over our own, and you get crucified here to suggest this is a bad thing.by Jib - OT Board
If Trump does nothing else, I really wish people became more aware of what's going on, and that a huge reason that foreign "skilled" workers are replacing workers here (software engineers, etc) is not because they are particularly needed, it is because they are cheaper, and can be "locked in" to working for these large companies-- at lower prevailing wages than your Ameriby Jib - OT Board
I'm not sure if your culture has anything like this, but, baseball to many of us represents childhood and happiness, as much as it does competition and camaraderie. Some of us have been inolved with it since our own childhoods, so we can relate strongly to what it might mean to be a pro baseball player-- even if only superficially. Among other things, it can be an escape from real life, andby Jib - OT Board
"That wasn’t Fernandez’s reaction to winning a World Series, or making the postseason. That wasn’t even Fernandez’s reaction to winning a ballgame. That was Fernandez reacting to a Giancarlo Stanton home run that tied a game in mid-July of 2013, a day on which the Marlins entered play 34-57, the worst record in the National League. This was Fernandez celebrating the chance to go to eby Jib - OT Board
The "merit" is playing so-many hours. I always thought that you had to have some sort of skill to be able to stick with a character for, say, 500 hours, and it would be nice to get something for it, and encourage long-lived characters moreso.by Jib - Main Board
Using hours to contribute toward edgepoints is pretty much the definition of objective, since it is not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering the result.by Jib - Main Board
1) It's objective. 2) It encourages and rewards playing. Win-win.by Jib - Main Board

It's characters like this that make the game stick around. Stick around, man. It feels like a million years since I checked back in here, but I really enjoyed Golthazar so I had to give a holler. Btw I played Brizda, probably the only thief with over 300 hours and under 3 pk's ever.by Jib - Char Board
For arcanine it looks like its a range of 2600-3000 CP, and 142-154 HP for max level. In other words, the "Average" will be like 2800CP versus your 3000CP. I don't know enough about the combat system to know if that's significant, but it doesn't seem like a huge dealbreaker. I shoot for above 50% and high CP for the level personally, because I'd rather not wasteby Jib - OT Board

/sarcasm I've never gotten into the cabal, but I think the point of it is, its exclusivity. If it were easy to get into I think it would make the whole point of the cabal ... pointless. That's just my take. Also what's really been bothering me these days is griping about how things are too hard and shouldn't be limited to only certain people who work for it. But maybe tby Jib - Main Board

Disrupts don't work and I'm fairly sure decal/soften don't work. Certainly slowing doesn't work. I believe reduce, enlarge, earthbind, and perhaps buoyancy work though someone can correct me if I'm wrong. You get the idea that it's a lousy matchup though.by Jib - Main Board
There's no reason why you should ever die and not be able to kill most anyone at some point or another (except for Undead, which may be tough for obvious reasons).by Jib - Main Board

I always liked the idea of expanding "where" to include groups of neighboring areas, where it makes sense. I'd start with those little off-shoot areas like trog caverns, goblin village, fucking xvart's lair, the cluster-fuck up there around Hillcrest and Udgaard... stuff like that. They can remain their own distinct areas for the sake of other mechanics and authoring, etc, jby Jib - Main Board

I did a good bit of running around with Fycul and Kubilak (badass orcs) back then as a transmuter and any rager whatsoever was like a wet paper bag to this combo. Granted, I was probably more the haste bitch than them my bash bitch-- all I had to do was enlarge and spider grip and haste those guys and sit back and toss softens and anything else was gravy. MT cutoff doesn't work THAT well unless you stick around too long.by Jib - Main Board
Of course you generally aren't going to neuro;neuro;soften;disrupt;get all corpse. Though you can pretty much piss in their cheerios all day long though by using disrupts and asphysxiation and all that stuff, taking them out of the game for a while since there's not that much of a chance of a transmuter dying directly to a rager that I can think of. A rager with ability to bleed theby Jib - Log Board
This has been my biggest gripe about transmuters for about 10 years now. I think it's the #1 reason why people view them as completely OP-- because if you have 3+ levels on your opponent, there is literally nothing they can do against you. IMO, a lvl 51 transmuter vs a lvl 51 geared opponent is not super-OP.by Jib - Log Board
