Excuse me while I derail the topic a bit
I was very confused with these rules when I started CF as well. No other game penalizes you for asking other people on message boards for help or OOC assistance. In fact, a lot of games reward people for offering in-game help, equipment, and good advice, cause its a nice thing to do.
Only in CF are we encouraged to be elitist assholes.

on the other hand... certain other people who have been playing for years and repeatedly been violating rules they know exist and have violated before...
I would be much more inclined to ban them. And give their IPs to the imms.
search wikipedia, google, dictionaries in six languages (mostly russian), the graveyard, and all the boards in qhcf, and plug my names into an anagram generator and word unscrambler to make sure I'm not accidentally offending someone.
Not.
<3 anyway though
this was perfectly in line with parity rules... Assassin waited until Drrrinia was out to attack, but then the D came back and was hit, while assassin "accidentally" got attacked by the demon after fleeing around and kept it from raping the crap out of the arial. I'm sure Kehade would have lived if the assassin hadn't attacked right after D fled and distracted the servitors, b
more than half of it is just training your muscles to do it without thought. intelligence is not required to gain skill at combat, unless guns and explosives become a part of the equation.
Meyrshal's defense against a shitton, Grysh's defense against a shitton, sweet RP logs with Harkan and hilarious shit from Vandrylon, some of the silly joke logs, some ridiculous Cabdru logs... I could go on and on =(
but that wasn't what scrimbul was addressing. Scrimbul was complaining about how to KILL these guys, he said you couldn't do it without sacrificing 1/3rd con for the gear they possess, but this is very wrong.
If you don't know the area and are trying to explore it, I agree, hidden assassinating mobs are giant piles of annoying shit, and will rape you up the ass. But if you know
walk into a room with 99% or under health. Thats it. Easily achievable by removing any piece of gear that gives you hp bonus, waiting a tick, and then re-wearing it and walking into the room.
most of the easy, good dwarven armor tends to be -50294852895749127989147 dex, so I don't recommend any dex dependent first specs, but if you are really determined to play a dwarf dagger spec nobody can stop you, I just don't recommend it on a max 18 dex race.
What are your primary goals with this character? Exploration? PK? Are you planning on rolling with a cabal? How good is your prep knowledge, and how much time are you willing to spend to get aforementioned preps?
You're acting as if anyone who disagrees with you is a whiney little pussy whose afraid to play like a "real man"
But guess what? Its a game. We're here to have fun, not to compare dick sizes. I agree, its totally possible to prep to the nth degree and get an edge over a villager, but this requires ridiculous amounts of time. Its not easy for most people, and contrary to wh
As Seonex, arial dagger/pole STSF, I didn't have terribly huge amounts of trouble with bashers unless they were with a shaman.
Note: The following is conjecture gained from my own experience and may or may not reflect the actual bash code.
Concealed has a chance of firing on bash, giving the dagger spec a free massacre and reducing the chance of it hitting, I believe.. The large maledi
A gnome killing dozens of elven children and orphans, a badass sphere strength fire giant offering bribes and gear to lowbies instead of threats, evils hoarding limited goodie equipment to prevent their enemies from getting it and vice versa, etc.
I've had debates with paladins about warrior legacy selection (supposedly a closely guarded secret amongst the uber-secretly powerful monks of
It has always bothered me that when I'm a duergar and I ask an elf to rank, his response is usually a flowery version of "go fuck off and die, douchebag" or "Repent your evil" when its clear that he's never met me or interacted with me and he doesn't know I'm evil :(
Because of game mechanics, some allowances must be made that wouldn't ordinarily pa
