PSR was much easier to farm earlier in the beta, back when a lot of the features were being tested or hadn't really been implemented. The best players, along with some not-so-good but extremely patient players, hit 2k+ psr fairly quickly - one game against a group of 5 1500 players with just you on the other side, and having all 5 of them leave, gave you a shitton of psr.
Also, elasticity
You'd have realized long ago that english is perhaps the most half-assed, nonsensical bastardized language in the world right now, which is why so many ESL speakers have trouble with basic concepts.
Have you ever tried to teach english to non-native speakers? Explaining something as basic as where to use articles like "the" or "a" or "an" is a near-impossibl
they host homosexual orgies in the shower rooms?
Because I honestly don't think that DADT changes anything in this equation.
If they're attracted to each other, and you think sexual attraction impairs combat performance, then regardless of the presence of DADT they're going to be impaired anyway.
If they're attracted to each other, and you think sexual attraction does
Department of Defense manned up and finally admitted the wikileaks data was not a significant danger in the least.
Problem is, everyone else who made a big deal out of it by yelling and screaming about how this data threatens american lives isn't nearly as good at admitting that they're wrong.
Let me quote the relevant portion for you:
>I'd also like to point out, Isildur, that the problem of where to house openly homosexual men is basically the same problem as where to house closeted homosexual men. Its not like they become any less homosexual under the DADT policy - DADT just tries to hide it better.
>If you honestly believe that sexual harassment or sexual assault (
that DADT
1) applies to people who won't ever be in combat situations
2) applies to people who are off-duty
Being sexually attracted to someone in a combat situation has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not someone's career gets ended by DADT - they can still end your career even if your performance in combat situations is completely unaffected by your gay lover back in
Thats the problem with this country: entitlement.
See, there are these fucking toolbags running our country who think that our soldiers are different - that they're entitled to violate the rights of other people because they're so special we need to make exceptions whenever they don't like a particular minority. WRONG - Soldiers are people too: it means they have to respect the
Either you discharge someone for having sex or you don't discharge someone for having sex.
Discharging only people who have a certain type of sex, regardless as to their job performance or relevant conduct on duty, is just retarded.
Whether gay people should be in the military or not is really a separate issue - discharging only gay people who get caught or who get outed is quite simpl
Quite frankly, I think letting them stay closeted is fine, and I suspect even with the removal of DADT most gay people won't come out.
I do, however, have a problem with "don't ask don't tell" policy specifically because it forces the automatic discharge of any service trooper who is outed or who is caught having gay sex. Under this policy, service men and women who ac
which was the post I was replying to.
And your concern may or may not be valid, but honestly I don't think the problem you have is one that is solidly tangible and measurable. Romantic involvement affecting combat performance may be a problem and it may not be a problem, but either way proving it is going to be nearly impossible.
I'll just say I disagree, and I do not believe the
If there are people in the military who would harass gay people, or who would assault gay people, then I think the best policy is not to oppress the victims, but rather to oppress the aggressors.
Its sort of like a country deciding to kill their Jews in order to keep their Nazis quiet: If there are people who would hate on openly gay people in the military, it strikes me as more sensible to pu
In particular, the hardship of not being able to hunt the homeless for sport really resonates with me... its a fundamental privilege every american should enjoy. I know I do.
half your proposals entail spending more taxpayer money and half of the others entail collecting less money from taxes.
Why don't we try spending a little less like George Bush and go for a little more Bill Clinton, yes?
in a tangent only roughly related to the original topic, I know in theory power word despondence looks like it'd be super effective versus conjies, but is it really any good?
Pros know where plague malison is and why it is important anyway: the ones who benefit the most from free flow of information are the ones without aforementioned information - i.e. newbies.
If you really cared about helping newbies, you would tell them where it was, what it did, and why it was important. You would not attempt to hold this information back, and thus give experienced players an
Do you really expect to find high level scrims in the board of a different game? :P
Go play QuC a couple of times so they can make FPVoDs. Those things are a lot of fun to watch.
