Her ult requires really strong map awareness and her creep micro makes her one of the potentially deadliest early game heroes - with four creeps, a good ophelia player can stun/slow enemies multiple times (hint: the tab key cycles you to the next char in the group: memorize their abilities).
Once you're comfortable with ophelia micro you'll start nuking people while your creeps run u
both dota and HoN fill this category.
Problem is, the game is intensely, intensely team based, so if you don't know what your doing and what everyone else is doing, you'll end up doing more harm than good. It doesn't matter how incredibly good you are at the game, if your team is weak you'll lose horribly. Since the learning curve is super high (not as high as CF's lea
I don't know how many of you already knew this, its probably old news, but I just found out the other day that the Wheel of Time's last book, A Memory of Light, is going to be finished by Brandon Sanderson, the same guy who did the Elantris and the Mistborn series.
I'm afraid he's going to butcher it since it isn't really his own work and its the super critical last vo
I agree.
The Silent Tower that was closed after information started leaking out about it feels bleh to me. Its like saying "I don't want anyone else to use it to become as potentially devastating as Cabdru"
I mean, he wrote the area, so it doesn't bother me that he naturally used his OOC information to get through it - area writers shouldn't be expected to avoid eve
They have a whole branch of mythology dedicated to the Tengu, bird-human hybrid trickster spirits.
Alternately, it might fit with the some of the mesoamerican tribes, like the Aztecs, who worshipped a bird deity.
shimmering silver scepter under Akan (mace, divine power)
mithril axe from lumberjack in weald (wrath)
dawnbringer (staff? Forgot where it is) (wrath or divine I think)
Dulliath (sword? Forgot where it is) (brilliant radiance)
Crusader's Sword (Flaming bite, emerald forest)
most of these are usable by goodies and neutrals, only one or two would work with evil, I think.

If you're gonna tell Scrimbul he's a moron for making a case that all ragers must be ganged, say why. Otherwise you're just farting hot air. I'm sure I don't need to tell a man with a -law- degree how to avoid hypocrisy through use of logically constructed argument, instead of developing more more via whiny ad hominem attacks, right?
Flaming Scrimbul for not making a c
any human ranger level sitting between level 20 and 40 can easily throw out huuuuuge damage output on people 5 or so levels lower than him, when they have much lower hp (as opposed to cloud giant, who has to deal with people 5 levels -higher- than him with a lot more hp). Cloud giants have more reliable permalag, but if you're good at moving around people won't even notice you setting u
there's some information that you practically -have- to ask OOC on this board or the main boards in order to find.
However, you can get huge amounts of information just by asking random people in-game. Thats basically how I learned about... over a dozen quests and several key equips/preps.
When in doubt about something, try asking other people about it. Of course, don't go asking

I'm a big fan of the dresden files by Jim Butcher, all I can say is that although I have the entire series up to small favor (8-9ish books?), I don't remember the last time I read the first three. The first three are well written and fun, but nothing special - Jim Butcher has a gift for building on his previous stories - both the Dresden Files and Codex
Give every fortress char an ability which adds between 200 and 500 hp and a tracking pet which autoattacks for them, or maybe innate haste, cabal-based sanc, and deathblow, and I'm sooooooo up for forcing them to follow some kind of parity/honor thing. I think it fits their RP a lot more than it fits Battle's RP, too.
While they have protection from evil + permafly or favor of the su
This could be anything from
1) imbalanced range (my cabal is in power all the time which means I can't do a lot or my cabal is never in power which means I can't do a lot and have to dodge massive gank attempts)
2) character bores me (internal problem)
3) something external makes playing the character no fun (multi-killing or full looting does this very effectively)
4) RP bl
or rather, fantasy set in a modern, complex world (in this case a small southern town), its pretty good. Haven't read the whole series, though, just the first three, I thought they were pretty interesting.
If you enjoy the genre, let me also suggest Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. The first few books in this series are really good - dark, violent, and with interesting chara
