And, yes, I don't see anything weird about it reality-wise. The character crouches down to catch their breath, whilst still being in a state of alertness, or if they have someone chasing them about to charge into them, they duck down so their pursuer can't succeed. Try to imagine someone crouching down low with several points touching the ground. Their low centre of gravity is surely go
Which is par for the course, because CF is not static but a work in progress. It constantly changes with fixes being added, new things introduced. No coder can be expected to take into account the entire consequences that their change will have given the many variables introduced by players in the game, and the consequence of this is that the system will crash once in a while.
If a lot of your melee attacks come out as 'misses' instead of damage verbs then you need more hitroll. I tend to find anything below about 15 unacceptable for my melee chars, with an optimum reached at about 25.
I envision Kobolds as a newbie friendly race with exceptionally low XP penalties and lower EXP holes. Their stats would be crap, and they'd be the weakest class for PK. The point would be to allow people to explore exciting CF areas without too much of an investment in hours.
Mindflayer - magey type class. Fragile, naturally at home in water (bonus to defences and other skills a-la wood e
Plus, the grind of gathering gold and preps at hero is bad enough. I don't agree with trends like fag looters who make the grind even worse by forcing regular regears. Plus people are conservative enough in the cabal wars as it is - encouraging the vulture fagpocalypse would hardly improve this.
Whilst I totally agree that the posting of the log had the desired effect, I can't say I'm opposed to the outcome. I loathe the typse of characters who camp cabal areas 24/7 at very little risk to themselves in order to score loot From my own, first-hand observations Erhlig was exactly one of these characters. It has a bad effect on cabalwars because people become people become conserva
I'm under the impression that unless you're ridiculously geared/prepped out the ass for HP and dam redux you are basically toast because their servitors are so many levels above you your tanking ceases to be relevant.
Does anyone want to disabuse me of this simplistic notion?
