1A) Cheetah - It used to be a quest form for a reason. All it had as a quest form was better defenses. It didn't even have pounce. I had that on tiger.
It's literally 10x better as it's utility form than when I had it as a quest form. SAD!
As they incur additional move lag even if they haven't lost any points of strength. Super annoying if you are near max weight carried but also have enough +str to mostly ignore assassins.
I obviously don't know CF's code, but in the version of POS we are running, which was at some point forked either directly from CF or from a common parent, the generic saves spell check also checks if you resist the damage type and gives you a bonus to saving if you do (and vice versa if you are vuln). So there is at least some chance. It also might depend on how zulg implemented the

Welcome to KBK Reborn!
2018-09-17: Bub the Great resurrects the old code. KBK is a mindless zombie and stinks.
2018-10-01: KBK is Reborn! Juices are flowing, and the stink is mighty, but it lives.
2018-10-02: Regeneration is doubled. Learning rates are tripled.

I'd probably go dark elf dagger hands striking cry (or whirlwind maybe... since thirst). STSF makes you tank good, them tank bad. Hands are hard to parry. No malediction, but vital + artery + hurl torso is a lot of -str in 3 rounds.

Is there any way to tell if an assassin is in trance?
Sort of? They will have (potentially) more dam redux than normal. The trend at hero right now seems to be *only* fight in trance, so assume they're tranced.
Duration/Cool down?
I was to say 8 hours every 24, but it could be less on both of those.
Can they call it in battle?
Not that I'm aware of. I *think* they can&
1) Martial Trance
Made Assassins way less squishy at hero. Now most only fight with it up.
2) Dex changes
Harder to beat in melee due to high dex and they can evade direct damage sometimes. Martial trance boosts this. Very hard to bash down tranced assassin, even if you can win the melee. They just don't get perma-lagged consistently
3) Throw + ground control edges

Mostly because all the ones I'm aware of have stuff that will just fuck up your life as a solo person, and you can't sustain enough damage fast enough vs. incoming to make it work.
For instance, if you are fighting something that does biting plague every round... How the fuck do you deal with that solo?
Or smothering (unblockable?) for -str -con regularly... Or poison + strip + en

Just wondering if anyone knows or has worked out the health ranges for the damage descriptions:
From a character I took combat statistician with, these are the ranges:
Zenze is in perfect health. (100% - 100%)
Zenze has a few scratches. (90% - 95%)
Zenze has a few scratches. (95% - 100%)
Zenze has some small but disgusting cuts. (75% - 80%)
Zenze has some small but disgusting
It isn't that hard to learn, and I'm personally more than willing to help anyone who wants help to set up stuff in whatever client they're using... Honestly if the tool is there, use it, or admit you are a srcub in the classic Nep sense.
