Instead of, as Hug so aptly pointed out, playing stupid. It's the playing stupid that I find more annoying than the cheating itself. Take ownership! Be the bad guy!
The guy who is always abusing OOC mechanisms for in game advantage (chase triggers) was using Akresius' shrine and rapid log ins/outs to kill people. He got caught. Rather than punish him (despite Umi saying that's what he'd do) they just close the shrine.
Makes total sense.
Go defense/offense or utility/offense neutral outlander.
Take your defense form or the right utility form and use feral rage against undead, which you'll get an xp bonus for killing because you're an outlander. It would be slow, but you could solo rank like that. I've done it.

Also agree with you on Cyradia. She was part of why my return to the heavens was short lived.
But I'm just telling you, for what it's worth in our anonymous world, you traded more than a couple fantastic immortals for her. It was not a net win.
Players might have mixed views on her but immortals did not. She didn't understand the game, its history, its balance, its story. But...she thought she could dictate it to everyone. The higher Baer rose, the more she had influence over (or took over), the more immortals left. It's that simple.
