The narrow intersection is paved with loose and broken granite
cobblestones, and patches of grass and weeds poke up from the cracks between

Arcing high over a river that you hear more than see in the darkness, the
ancient white stone of the bridge seems to glow with its own soft inner
light in the night air. Down the western arc of the bridge a road forms,

Deep in the Spiderhaunt
As you travel deeper into this foreboding wood, the webs grow darker, the
spiders larger, and the trees more rotted. Occasionally, a mass of webs
next to you wiggles and writhes. It appears as if something was caught
and trapped here, to serve as a spider's next meal.
