Made a post on the officials (Gameplay) about ideas to change CF and make you come back/stick around.
Goal is to make suggestions and keep it positive. Nobody wants to listen to a bunch of snarky whiners, so IMMs will tune out if it takes that turn. I encourage everyone to post simple suggestions (due to lack of coders) and try to rekindle the flame.
Oh, don't get me wrong... In my mind, there's no excuse for IMM sabotage. But I'm just pointing out that he's not some OP wrecking ball that the IMMs decided they needed to take down a notch or something. I've never even seen his char before, in all honesty.
You should have prayed looking for an explanation, if anything. If you ask without an attitude, I'm sure they would have looked into it and let you know what happened. Could have been a bug, could have been you didn't log enough hours, etc.

What's the difference between the two?
They're both 2 thief points-- shadow disappear removes you from combat and makes you hide immediately, disengage only removes you from combat. Why would you ever pick disengage over shadow disappear? Less self-lag maybe?
If anyone with experience with this could chime in, I'd appreciate it!

Wimpy was the only thing that got me out of that shit-show, so as far as I could tell it was permanent.
2 rounds more lag over 2 perfect case scenario bashes (which if you miss, you eat 3 rounds lag which is a substantial risk) where the batter only eats half a round of lag for a missed bat... Quite different.
If I showed you my affects list after 5-6 rounds of being bat spammed, you'd shit yourself and never post on this forum again in shame of your ridiculous post... I've also been perma-lagged by it for 6+ rounds-- you can call it luck, but everything is "luck" when RNG is involved, so the same could be said for anything. No skill should be able to lag, stack -dex/str and -mana/h
Listen, man... I know you're frustrated, but you literally played THE MOST frustrating combo on the MUD while simultaneously complaining about fighting THE MOST frustrating combo on the MUD (elf bat-spammer).
SIDENOTE: Bat is probably the one skill in the game that has left me scratching my head wondering how the hell it got past the IMMs in the testing and made it into the game itself. S
You get a lot of hate for being a "murder druid", but I've seen your RP firsthand and I'm sure all the bitterness is just coming from sore losers that can't move past it... I for one appreciate the numerous logs you're posting, and extra points for posting your losses as well. Keep it up!
It's not like nightgaunt where it instantly appears on you... It tracks much faster than a regular mob, but it's easy to get distance from it and never have it catch up. The no word/teleport should be the scariest thing about it by far.
