trying some searches but can't seem to find what I am looking for, looking for a lowbie outfit set, remembering some things, but coming up blank on a lot of lowbie gear.
I think the lag bug(s) come from Legacy stuff bleeding over to all characters. Something in the checks to see how they are called into action in relation to data overflows or someone altered something unknowningly.
hand to hand has a few other consideration.
Plain old hand to hand vs assassin hand to hand vs hand spec hand to hand
and everyone gets it (pretty sure) where as other weapons not so much.
Neppie posted something to the effect, it was supposed to go POOF after so many (5?) times it progs, and when it didn't "Cabdru" rp'ed something and destroyed it. I recall him saying it needed to be fixed, never heard if it actually got fixed. Cabdru did get a ton of charges from that one druid, name escapes me, not that they mattered by that point really.
was thinking more along the lines of someone who can't dual wield, whether having no dual wield skill or using an overly large weapon not of the "long" types. hadn't thought size would be a factor, though I would think smaller/dex'ier would be better intuitively.
Thieves offer more opportunity, wider path as it were. A thief can be in any cabal (maybe not entropy not sure), any align, any ethos, most races. A thief can become a guild leader. Raiders can be fun, but if you are the type who needs to be in a cabal, well, pretty sure that is denied there. Raiders are new'ish but you should be able to look up successful ones to see what does/has worked fr
Quick question.
How often does gear repop. As in, I request/steal/disarm something from mob, not limited, how long would I have to wait to go back to the mob, assuming no one kills in with any regularity and I am unable to kill (good on good or other roleplay reason)
There was a post about ranking (might have been linked in the thread I forget) but as an air/offense you should be able to find a mob that you can kill for decent exp (assuming you can travel in air above) kill it, fly to healer and heal (barter healing to save coins), fly back repeat. Ranking out of form isn't totally out of question (if you can find the right wands to make it worthwhile)
There are a decent number of "merchants" that are barter only. I don't play much anymore but remember the one in silverwood, one in arial city, and another that's location escapes me(just remember bartering for prep there). And as said, unless your specific role prohibits it, there are many many healers not in protected cities. There is a trainer (woodelf) in the FoN and the r
So, I keep seeing people wearing a thick strip of red leather on their wrist. I item searched it on officials and there are three different ones for three different wear slots found in the Desert of Araile. It isn't limited but I have only see "the head piece one" on a certain mob (the chief I forget his name) I have only went looking with a low level (my only char just now) goodie
I would have to go with 2 warriors, human/Giant/duergar sword specs as first spec, second spec can vary a little with "Bard/Healer/Transmuter".Warriors swap off tanking, third rests/sleeps a majority of the time between healing/prepping/maldicting.
Three Paladins get silver/wrathing weapons asap, powerrank on undead, I could see the right three guys getting to hero in 20-40 hours (de
If it is the quest I am thinking of, one where you get attacked over and over?, I have never completed it, so sorry I am no help, but can commiserate with you.
Um PK range is based off the highest total exp you have attained. Since the only to "lose a rank" is for an imm to do it or corrupted pfile. You don't really lose anything advantage or disadvantage wise dying to mobs. the problems came if your "friends" didn't wait for you to rank and would leave you behind. Huge level differences in PK fights have always been a thin
