Theres seems to be a serious conceptual gap somewhere in here, Sylvan are anti-civilization, that means they don't like it, or those who support it. What you two seem to be complaining about is that Sylvans are spending their time sitting in cities. Feel free to cite specific examples of Warders who SIT in town. I can not remember the last time I saw the inside of a guild myself. From my point of view, that is simply not the case. If a defilers in town, then you can expect a Sylvan to come in town to kill him. You're not seeing the same thing the Warders are seeing, this imaginary boundary of "protected by law & civilization" doesn't exist in the Warder's worldview. The wilds are continuous, and the places of "civilization" are just sores that need to be healed. Sorry if you don't like my particular choice of methods, but todays Warder's are anything but the "park rangers" of Amberlea's painting.
