Tip #1 is angels are aggressive to anybody who is evil.

Tip #2 is you shouldn't fuck with a conjurer unless you can kill them quickly. He's an elf with somewhere around 100-150 additional hp from gear(rough estimate, I don't feel like looking up all of that shit on the item list).

Had you all just attacked the conjurer rather than trying to spell him up he probably would've died, especially if the warrior was there with you and you were wielding iron weapons.

This isn't a case of conjurers being overpowered so much as it's a case of you trying to do things you shouldn't against a conjurer.
