A few clarifications from the guy who knows...that being me. In this situation, Gerandin is correct, I would probably be rather upset with someone summoning a good mob into a fight to use it as fodder...that's not how one lightwalker treats another. Now, do I expect my followers to be honorable? No. Is Shokai honorable? Yes. (why point this out you may ask? Simple...Shok's roleplay is a little complex in this area...but it can be boiled down to Shokai is honorable, and acts accordingly...but doesn't expect or demand it from his followers...victory over the dark is more important...end ramble)
Would there be cases where I wouldn't get upset at seeing someone summon a good mob to help out in a fight...possibly, but as with all things that are 'greyish' the person doing it had better have a good reason if I start to question. The basic way to sum up what is allowed and what isn't is to run it through these questions:
1) Will it bring about victory for the Light?
if no...don't do it
if yes:
2) Will another Lightwalker be slain with this tactic?
if yes:
3a) Is it really worth the risk?
if yes:
4a) Will Shokai think it's worth the risk?
if yes:
5a) Am I sure about that?
if yes:
do it.
if no:
3b) Does it violate any other principle of Maran exsistance?
if yes: see 4a
if no: do it.
As with all things in roleplaying, there are/will be/always have been exceptions. Hope this helps though.
