You make so many assumptions, and with so little knowledge, it really bothers me.
You think we were sitting around for days, the three of us, working on a master plan to kill Altrael there? They saw him in the grove and said so on the cb, asking for help. The hawk flew from the sylvan grove. Asihara and the armadillo had already been out doing things and were not in peak condition, and not prepped. And altrael can heal himself 300 hp in three tics, as you saw. And if you read it carefully you saw that they were not all in a group, not assisting eachother. So no using "gr" to see how anyone is, etc.
And you saw how little the beasts hit him, and that he parried every one of the hawk's attacks, and that he tigerclawed Gruxinbort. What was he supposed to do, turn into a sea snake or manta in the grove? And the armadillo tried to call insects, but gee, guess what, he lost concentration a couple times and Altrael saved a couple times.
And lets talk about buffet. You ever played an invoker? You know what it does? Do you know why he used pebble instead? Unless you wanted to actually push him out of the wall, and not keep him there, buffet would be a bad idea.
So you tell me, grallon, what exactly you think would have done well? You noticed, I trust, how he was destroying the hawk? That was with shield/aura/stoneskin (not barrier), and hasted, of course. You saw that he fled right after the unspeak pillar. How do you plan to keep him there, other than the pebble which asihara tried? What damage could be done?
Don't talk about what you dont know.
And for the countless idiots out there who like to take pot shots at me, piss off.
