Guardians of the Flame was fantastic. I think it's a good example of how fantasy can go cross generations (you'll get alot out of it whether you're 12 or 32 - well, I'm not 32, but it deals with complex enough "coming of age" issues that probably would have some appeal). Anyone who doesn't recognize the name "Aristobulous" should REALLY go out and read Joel Rosenberg. He doesn't have all the "crafting a new realm with in depth histories" skills that moorcock or jordan or tolkien or those types of fantasy writers have, but he's a Hell of alotta better writer than them (plots are more humanistic and character driven). Anyway, to sum up this thread:

Go read Joel Rosenberg
