I happen to like the idea of Imms playing as Mortals. I think it is in poor taste if they use their Immortal knowledge to better their mortal characters, but no one has ever thought that perhaps the Immortals have more integrity than to do that. Maybe, just maybe, they only use low-level knowledge... and honestly do something within their own character to satisfy the requirement to progress and do another quest. For example...

When I make characters I tend to tell in the role that my parents told me about Galadon, the road and whatever... I won't even travel anywhere else unless I ask someone about it. In fact, many people I think overlook the RP aspect of doing that. Asking someone in your guild, "Greetings brother/sister... I've heard of this place where kids roam around, kicking much dirt in the eyes of visitors... where might that be?" Obviously that's the orphanage, and obviously if I'm asking I know where it is... but to begin communicating with those around you is a good way to make friends and know your enemies... would you agree? I tend to also see that if you DON'T roleplay and you DON'T talk to people, that you only find out who you're enemies are after you're gangbanged. (Exception: Rager to Mage, etc.)
