VIP doesn't equate to "Deity." What I say, or what Imbrogno says, is most certainly not any more correct because of the (VIP) after my name, unless we're talking about forum rules or the like. We probably don't regularly disseminate wrong information--if we did, we wouldn't have been picked as VIPs in the first place. But we're also prone to post quasi-flames every now and then (some VIPs moreso than others).
That said, I think you exaggerate when you say that it's "almost nothing" constructive. My post on Gergran (which was actually echoing comments made by more than one immortal on this forum, with their (IMM) flag) was weeks ago, and was my blunt way of saying that his advice on how to play a healer wasn't the best in the world. I was alarmed that a healer who geared in full Pwent for damage and whom I saw let his companions die because he was more focused on trying to kill me than protecting them, was giving advice to a new player approaching the healer class.
That said... relax. :)
You're leader of a cabal. People will make pointless allegations about what your cabal is like without having played it recently or at all, and in this case, the poster has almost as much (if not more) of a grudge against Sylvan as he does against Battle. People will say that "Cabal X" are honorless/cowardly/gangbanging/non-roleplaying/younameit losers. Ignore it and do your thing. Even the best cabal leaders will perennially get flak on the forum from lackwits who lack the objectivity to realize how blind they're being.
