1. There were only two ragers there.
2. One of the ragers turned autoassist off. (that's 3 on 3, champ)
3. I could only harm two of the Imperials.
4. Yes, I was an idiot for not removing the helm before joining them.
4a. I don't feel a VIP (Imbrogno) should take part in a character assassination of Jirgolo.
5. The MOST IRRITATING part of this encounter took place after they died or ran. *mutters* But I'll leave that aside for now until it's settled IC.

Re: Gangbanging.
You know, the gangbangs now are *nothing* compared to what I had to endure when I was first learning the damned game, having to defend the Knight cabal alone vs. 8 shadows/shadow allies, who were total merciless dicks about returning gear and multi-killing you. Even if this was a 4 on 3 (which it wasn't), the circumstances totally merit that confrontation. And even if the circumstances didn't (they do), it's really bloody easy to avoid a group of four gunning for you when you're an imperial mage/divine. If I were among those three, I would be kicking myself and blaming myself completely for my own stupidity/ego/underestimation (which I do *everytime* I die) rather than looking for flaws in others "ganging" them. Furthermore, I think expecting battleragers to fight honourably, claming that their powers are "too powerful" to be allowed to gangbang is utterly ridiculous - I can not think of an easier gang to avoid than a gang of eight battleragers, and if a gang of eight battleragers does kill my character, I'll (again) blame myself for not avoiding the confrontation (as I did when I died to two of them lagging me -I overestimated size and was arrogant-). Personally, I think ragers should be allowed to gang as much as they want, just like everyone else (except Balgrimnr's followers who are more than compensated for the restriction by having what is arguably the most powerful ability in the game).
Re: My magic use.
Yes, I was a dipshit for not taking off the helm, and, now that this has been posted on the log board, I inadvertently placed Jirgolo into an OOC punishment situation, which I apologize for. IC, no one noticed the helm, and I hope that continues to be the case, IC, and that no one is influenced by the implied character assassination in this log.
Last: Pardon my rant on gangbanging. It's just been bugging me.
