I would like to ask at what rank/range of ranks you expect char's to participate in these quests. I had the very good fortune to be a part of some quests a LONG time ago...and I had to REALLY REALLY fight to be involved...because I was only rank 47 at the time and I got told "These kinds of things are for heroes only, for your own protection".
Now I get inducted, and before I hit rank 20, I start noticing this stuff happening, Very interesting stuff that I HUNGER with a passion to be involved in...for ic reasons. I am going out of my way to rank as fast as I can so I can be involved in this (even knowing that I know less than nothing about it accept something about a Biomancer). Last night, I am trying like hell to get to the point where I can participate, and I see a global thing...No idea what it was about...
But I ask you...Are people in their twenties supposed to enter areas that are pretty much insta-death (like whistlewood) for their rank to get involved? Was I one of those masters that you included in the "shame on you"? Will I have no chance to get into the quest by the time I finally get to hero? Should I even try to get into the quest before then if not?
I am really psyched about the possibility of being involved...but to hear you say you have been trying and trying and are going to basically give up on involving masters...before I even have a chance to participate...Kind of makes me really really sad, and wonder if I should even put forth the effort.
