Know you're enemy:
He's an axe spec so, provided he's of the right rank, he can pincer you which lags you pretty damn good. My first course of action therefore is getting him to drop his weapons. Plague him, stacking them until he drops his weapon or throw in a weaken or poison. Famish was a waste of two rounds since all he has to do is eat to get rid of it(it's a waste of practices IMHO) so it's not like he's going to run off and hide, then die from famish. A poison or plague would've been a better malediction to throw on.
I wouldn't have spent so much time trying to secure the blind either. If he's not against the use of magic he likely has a return potion, which he can see even if he's blind(which I think is stupid by the way). If he is against the use of magic his only method of escape is to flee and run and hope you're not a good chaser. Therefore, my second course of action(after getting the weapons out of his hands) would've been energy drain. Now you fatigued, which is a fine plan and is does decent damage, but energy drain is MUCH more reliable when it comes to sapping the movement from your victim. After you hit that twice he's likely hurting for moves, especially with poison/plague draining them as well. You now can do with him as you please since he isn't going to flee far, if at all. Now start hitting him with fatigues for the damage or harm.
So, to recap
plague
plague
plague or poison(until weapon drops)
try one blind, if it fails to hell with it
energy drain
energy drain
fatigue/harm
fatigue/harm
get all corpse
Lowbie tactics, gotta love 'em.
