...that Bards should proofread more carefully, but it seems the problem lies in the fact that they think it is correct. In your Chayan example, Mealody was mispelled twice. Obviously that's how Chayan thought it was spelled, and it looked good... why look up a word to see if it's correct if you know it's correct? If I send a note to anyone I'm frantic about it being perfect. Luckily I'm a good speller and good at grammar (when I want to be) *grin* so that helps... but for those out there that aren't, they don't seem to care anyway and just send the note.
A bard note to all in CF adds a new variable to their character... something no one else has. Whatever they scribe is shown to the entire population. To be honest, whenever I see a note from Chayan I skip it. Whenever I see a note from any bard that has made a spelling, grammar or whatever error in the past, I skip it. I guess that's a little obnoxious of me, but to be honest it ruins the entire note when something stupid is done. I get the point of the note, sure, but it just shows me that they don't particularly care about it enough to proofread the entire thing and make sure it's perfect. So, since they don't give that respect to their work, I don't give them that respect. Oh yeah, that's 10% of the reason. 90% of the reason is that they never had anything good to say. :-)

Neon shines through smoky eyes tonight,
It's 2am I'm drunk again and it's heavy on my mind.
I could never love again,
so much as I love you,
Where you end where I begin,
is like a river goin' through.
Take my heart,
Take my eyes,
I need them no more...
If never again they'll fall upon,
the one I so adore...
'Scuse me please one more drink...
Could you make it strong,
cause I don't need to think.
She... broke my heart my grace is gone...
Another drink and I'll move on.
One drink to remember and another to forget,
How could I ever dream to find a love like you again?
One drink to remember and another to forget...

- Dave Matthews Band, Grace is Gone. (From the concert I went to @ Giants Stadium, July 11th, 2000... don't ask how I got it) Click here to listen to it! I've reduced the quality and set it up on my site to be streamed... You'll need RealAudio to listen.
> When you log in and see 4 notes by bards, at least half of which have a spelling or formatting problem, I no longer wonder why Bards who write mass notes have a Bad Name =P Damn it to hell, proof read before posting. If you want to play a bard, and aren't strong in your english skills, keep a dictionary nearby for checks on spelling. =P Hell, use a word processor with spelling and grammar checks before you post. =P
