honestly, sometimes I wonder about you people that think that the right to bear arms is a good thing.
America: 35,000 murders in 1997.
Britain: 27 murders in 1997.

Not to mention, the death penalty is something most civilized countries have done away with a long time ago.

It's obvious: the US is an over-advertised prison state, its people saturated with brand names and television. If you call that civilization, then, you're obviously deluding yourself.
