It's certainly not that I haven't made one.

> Well I just wanted to say thank you. I didn't understand the system before.
>Nepenthe has been so very vague when talking about the cabal system. I thought
>I was jumping to conclusions for the last six years. Thank you Macheath. *tear
>drips from my right eye*

Thank you, Mr. Unnecessarily Overdone Sarcasm. For a guy who understands the cabal system, you sure act clueless. Cabal powers come from cabal items, cabal items go into cabal shrines. For things to be different, there needs to be an exception. And the statement, "our power comes from hope and faith in the light!" is NOT acceptable or sufficient.

> Why? Because your thoughts/point is not original. Do the forum search, hero.
>The first thing out of everyone's mouth when it comes to the Dawn is.. they
>aren't supposed to get involved in cabal wars. Where does it say that on their
>help file.. you goof.

I did do a forum search. That's how I found Selric's quote. And nothing I found satisfied me, nothing from imm or "First Apostle" answered any of my questions.

> Well I didn't need Gareth and another permagroup member... and while I do
>consider what happend to Saerin my most memorable CF experience, it wouldn't
>be anywhere near the top of my life experiences. Considering your 15 minutes
>of fame amounts to a VIP flag on a public form.. well that says a lot about
>you doesn't it.

Uhhh... no comment.

Fuck that, plenty of comments. If I'd known that grouping with Gareth's character on occasion would destroy any points I ever tried to make in the future, I wouldn't have done it. We were *not* a permagroup, and I *did not* know that the character in question was Gareth until long after the fact.

And screw you about the VIP flag being my "real life" 15 minutes of fame. What if it is? How do you know I'm not reaching for a knife or a gun right now? :P I haven't resorted to taking potshots at you as a person yet, and I won't; I don't know you at all.

> Actually, I don't. It's hilarious that *you* haven't made *one* original point
>since this thread started. You haven't had *one* original thought.

You've been missing my point, genius. Read on.

> Of course, you stated for a fact that Dawn isn't supposed to get involved in
>cabal wars.. Where does that come from?

Maybe I just think that's the way it should be, to keep things fair. Consider that yet? No, of course not.

> I half way agree with you. Why is the solution to give them an item. Isn't
>this a matter for Selric to hash out?

God damnit, this is where you show that you've obviously missed my point. I am not advocating giving Dawn an item. I am suggesting that they had better shape up and adhere to their cabal's philosophy, if they're going to go without.

>If Dawnies are running off every chance they get to raid another cabal instead
>of being Servants.. then the apostles should step in.. and if not them.. then Selric.

Right, so where are they?

Okay, the rest of your points all revolve around asking the question, "But why do you want to give Dawn an item? That's NOT FAIRRR!" Thusly:

> How fair would it be to give Dawn an item with the powers they have? My point is
>giving them an item isn't a solution.

I'll just respond to all of it at once, by repeating once more that you've missed my point. I'm just about done with this thread. When people lower themselves to taking digs at me personally without knowing me, I start to get pissed, and when I start to get pissed, I start to really flame. And nobody wants that.
