Loud thunder rolls above you. Rumors of torrential rainfall in the Khalid River Valley spread through the land.

A piercing wail, as from an animal in pain, suddenly rings out from the heavens.

Braerus falls to his knees, clasping his head in agony.

A blinding light flashes and Braerus's skull suddenly splits in two.

A dark feminine form emerges, standing over the corpse.

She crouches down and runs her hand down Braerus's pale face, then takes the dagger 'Carwynhau' from his motionless corpse.

The Khalid River turns a deep red and begins to boil as the rain continues to fall....
