Well, for one, you weren't taking the interview seriously at all. At least that's what it seemed like to me. You were spouting nonsense instead of paying attention to the questions Eyllivea was asking. You aren't going to be inducted for being funny or humorous. Also I don't think she was impressed by you stopping your conversation with her to play around with Bugnhaegen.
