This is all ohh so true. I too like the concept of the Empire. But when I loose a fight 9 out of 10 times, it is just no longer fun to play an imperial.

I usually play one of the blade sect, but their powers are pathetic when you compare them to the ragers. If only they got imperial training at a much lower rank, it might help a bit. If a rank 30 imperial warrior fights a rager warrior of the same rank, there should be no question of the outcome. I can’t count the times I’ve been in a group that attacks a single rager, and the rager wins the fight.

Most of the times I’ve been killing the giant to regain the codex, the mages just spell me up and leave. They know that if a rager shows up, they won’t stand any chance at all. It must be so darn frustrating to be an imperial mage, that I even can’t imagine it. It can’t be that you as an invoker (or almost any other mage class) have to avoid the whole NT-eastern-Galadon area, until you’re a hero. And even then avoid it at most times.

I too have been thinking on rolling a rager. But I like the whole imperial idea so much more, that I don’t want to give it up just because of the power the ragers have.
