(emphasis added) The world is set up so that magic and nature oppose one another. And here you say that an opposing side can help. Either you oppose, or you don't oppose. We didn't create the spheres and the world, the imms did. And they set it up so that magic opposes nature. That's just the way the world is. Sure, you can come up with convoluted reasons to allow you to have a mage in sylvan, but don't for a second think that it does anything other than ignore the way the world is already set up. One side opposes the other. Magic helping nature ignores/goes against the structure of the world. (Sure, if you want to say that the very makeup of the world is wrong, and the gods were wrong to set it up that way, fine, but then you have to say that your *own* god is wrong, too, since he is part of the powerstructure that made and keeps the system as it is)
