Is it possible to be a forum junkie? I think I'm more addicted to the forum than to CF :P Ok, without further adieu, my idea. Yes, yes, I know, it's embarassing, but I thought about this at work: Sect leaders do not get their sect powers *unless* the Empire holds the sapling, head, codex, equation, and token! Go me! Why, you ask? Well, those nifty sect powers, and, yes, they are nifty - I rue the day when I have to run up against an Imperial Shaman with healing curse - are inspirations to roleplaying, yes? Well, what are the two lines of roleplaying the Empire is supposedly following, but we all know they never do: 1. Intra-sect warfare/competing for Emperor and Sect leadership. 2. Intra-cabal warfare, conquering every cabal except Masters (because we know they always get their butts kicked and no one shows when they're warring). So, the sect leadership powers would inspire *both* lines of roleplaying with one fell swoop! Yes, the sect powers are awesome, but then, getting every cabal item is a pretty awesome task to accomplish, as well. Anyway, that is my idea. We'll call it option one. Option two is removing the damnable powers. Any questions? Amergin.
