Had you heeded the suggestion and not talked down to the Imm (Yes, it was you who did the "down-talking"), you could have been on your way to writing a note, maybe finding out how you died. That the Immortal humored you and kept explaining things to you is a credit to their patience. I've had some weird things happen when I have a power outage or my isp goes down. Having seen so many people lose link to stay "safe", I can understand why the Imms are more suspicious. I've died a few times to things like this and I've learned that 99.9% of the time, griping about it will get you nowhere. The attitude that you're expected to adopt is "Well, shit happens". Is it supposed to be easy? Heck, no. I don't blame you for having the impetus to question, but I'd urge you to do your best to let things like this go.
