Ok, you got your pierce, bash, slash, and magic

And they equal numbers, how do these numbers affect the damage being delt to an oppenent?
What happens if they are + or -?
Then you got your save Vs. stuff?

Could someone who knows what is going on tell me...heh what is going on with this stuff?
